Well, my hope was for something chip-specific so I wouldn't have to improvise (the shadow box would require glue or unsightly pins to hold the chips), so that thing the konashark found (in Vegas, go figure) just seems ideal.

The products from the place I linked above is also chip-specific although less elegant. Except those brass display pieces, which are pretty cool. (Full disclosure - the same display items are offered to pog collectors. )

Actually, konashark found the box online (he is a real good online researcher and buyer). Not only is it specific size, each chip is has a special plastic case. I'm thinking this was designed for coin collectors.

Yeah, I am not too worried about regular boxes, as I'd like to also display my piece o' the gun with the chips.

Kona - that's what I was hoping for, but I hadn't gotten very far when I decided to post about the one site I found and then saw the konashark's offering. The only concern would be about coin/chip size, but it seems he has solved the problem, so we need him to fess up!

And Krystyn - of course with a gun artifact you MUST have a proper shadow box. I forgot about your special extra. But maybe you can find some coin collecting implements that would fit in the box, display your chips and save you from having to glue them to the linen...that's not asking too much, is it?
