Yes I will be coming and I will be (most likely) able to pick people up and drive them around. I just got the entire weekend off from the wonderful Staples Center!)

I'm in San Diego and will definitely be there, at least for Sat. and Sun. More info once I determine if the spouse is coming. If I drive up Friday night, I won't be leaving here until around 5PM, so not sure if I'll be able to make dinner, but will certainly be up for drinkering afterwards Smile

I'll be driving up, so that will be another car for our carless visitors.

Edit: Serendipity! The spouse was already planning on going to LA on Friday the 18th for a concert, so we'll both head up, he'll drop me off with you guys and continue to the concert, then join up with us afterwards! Play on Saturday and hang on Sunday, home again Sunday afternoon!

The spouse came up with a great idea for Saturday dinner or dessert (depending on what the PMs have in store for us) - The Stinking Rose!

If you've never heard of this restaurant, check out the link... in a nutshell (or a garlic clove...), they have Everything Garlic - Mashed potatoes, ice cream, you name it! My favorite appetizer there is the Garlic Cloves sauted in olive oil to the point they are *so* soft they can be spread like butter on Italian bread... ::: drool:::

I get off work at 4PM, I'll need to stop by home to pick up Vic's hat because that's the day it's being delivered. Then I can drive up to dinner. I'll be comming from OC.

I was thinking Mann's Chinese Theatre for the picture with the hat. I'd like to get as many people as possible in the shot at the theatre. Perhaps after dinner we can get a big ol' Convoy up there?

As we are nearing the date, things are starting to get a little confusing. And, given that the suite is in my name so far, I need to see how many people are willing to chip in for it without counting on it as their sleeping accomodation for the night. Of course: a) people are welcome to the party there regardless of whether they can/cannot contribute; b) people that get too tired/drunk to drive home can crash there as well. So, any interested parties - could you please add your names to the new "Would like to chip in for the party suite" heading on the wiki?
