Johnny Caldwell , a charming individual. And there's some kind of code on his page.

Odd. The blueprints on Hearst's page are for the Grande Hotel, at 5441 Graham in LA.
That's where Matt Viet operates from these days, according to his arrest warrant.

i don't know if this helps, but the old General must be John J. "Black Jack" Pershing. He led both an expedition against the Moros in the Philippines (the Sultan Hassan reference) and the expedition against Villa.

joe kennedy might also be irrelevant: Joe Kennedy is presumably Joseph P. Kennedy , JFK's father

The telegram in the movie from Pancho Villa's page has this:
Quote:
Hotel Apolo, encargese de la Hacienda del Carmen y preparense por la llegada del jefe. Hagan espacio en las oficinas de Palacio y ponganlo bajo vigilancia.
My translation:
Hotel Apolo, You are ordered to the House of Carmen and you are to prepare for the arrival of the boss. Make a space in the Palace offices and put them under monitoring.

On PanchoVilla's page... in the "coming to Juarez" movie. Zoom in using flash, and you'll see the name: Maj. Damon Michael

I will accept trout lovingly pan-seared and served with dill and freshly-cracked black pepper, but it appears that the 'forums' on the website have been, er, fleshed out a bit:
Ugh, all the posts are October 24th or thereabouts. So I totally trout myself, I guess.

I'm out of dill. How about a lovely white wine, olive oil, and garlic reduction?
Oh, and by the way, Week 5 is up on the muck .

Hum. We've found only 6 of the 8. :/
Trying to work out what we should be garnering from the two family trees revealed today -- the Sullivan tree on McPherson's and the bible page from Kerry's update. ???

Spec: in the audio file from John Smith Caldwell, does he say another name before Pancho Villa? Something like "George A. Bell"?
Also, Rosita and Esteban from the same audio file may be cards (mostry Rosita, since Esteban gets shot after we know him for, like, 15 seconds...)

I was all proud of myself for finding this guy! You must not have typed his name into the site. Sorry to steal your glory!

George Abel is Hearst's travelling name.
William Randolph Hearst wrote:
His papers said he was George Abel, an American business man. It was odd to be alone. It had been a long time since he'd traveled anywhere alone. But this was an audacious gamble and if it worked...
We've got an Abel... and a Cain, according to the letter Ambrose Bierce wrote. Weird.
