 		here's a quick breakdown of the black house plot from wikipedia:
Twenty years ago (in The Talisman), a boy named Jack Sawyer travelled to a parallel universe called The Territories to save his mother and her "twinner" from a premature and agonizing death that would have brought cataclysm to the other world. Now Jack is a retired Los Angeles homicide detective living in the nearly nonexistent hamlet of Tamarack, Wisconsin. He has no recollection of his adventures in the Territories and was compelled to leave the police force when an odd, happenstance event threatened to awaken those memories. When a series of gruesome murders occur in western Wisconsin that are reminiscent of those committed several decades earlier by a real-life madman named Albert Fish, the killer is dubbed "The Fisherman" and Jack's buddy, the local chief of police, begs Jack to help his inexperienced force find him. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_House_%28novel%29

 		If we are to believe that Dr. Munchen is a "good guy" then my vote is to believe the same about Jordan. All early communications with the various "riddlemask" personalities were certain that Dr. Munchen's numbers were the key to their freedom. It stands to reason that following his numbers ("menace-media") would lead us to a "good guy" and not "one of them". Anne or Lisa (can't remember which) said that Dr. Munchen had dreams of being taken before he actually was, so maybe he dreamed about "menace-media", too. Maybe he's some kind of prophet, who knows.

I plan on writing Jordan an email, divulging most to all of what we know. We have to establish a level of trust here, and even though we don't have much reason to trust him yet, he has no more reason to trust us.

If anyone has any good reason why I should not send Jordan this email, email or PM me soon. Otherwise, I will post my email when I send it so we all know how much Jordan knows.

 		The name 'Marie Curie' jumps to mind, but darn it, I can't find proof to put that face to that name.

It may just be (playing devil's advocate) a dead end to follow the 'fake newspaper' route..

You were pondering what I was pondering.....
I would say 'go' because of the reasons mentioned and as this is the only contact in 'this' world where else could we turn?

Nah. not even in her younger years did she wear her hair like that. Always up. So why would someone make a drawing with hair like that if she always wore hers up?

On the "Deadend". You can only tell its a dead end if you went in and had a look. Sometimes it takes a long hard look. And as there's not much more to go on at the moment... we smell the roses a bit.

 		did some research on anne mooney and i ran into a class yearbook of 1935 with an alice anne mooney in it.

here

might be a red herring but at least worth mentioning.

 		1935 age... 18? that would make her ("at least 40 years ago" say 1965)
48 when the car crash occured and she'd be 70 now......

I sent the following email to Jordan, disclosing pretty much everything we know. Enough of this tip-toeing around crap. Sometimes a leap of faith is required to get anywhere.

I've discussed the situation with my peers and feel that the time is right to be very open with you. Therefore, in a show of good will and in an attempt to establish a level of trust between you and us, here is what we know so far. I will relay everything to the best of my knowledge and memory. It began with communication via various instant messenging programs. Several of us received communication from the identity "riddlemask". Through various conversations, we determined the following:

* There are three different speakers: Lisa, Anne, and Jin. [I have only personally communicated with Anne and Lisa]
* All of them claim to be held captive in a place called Server 5.
* They do not know how they got there, but they call it the "first taking".
* They have not seen their captors, although they hear their voices while awake and in their dreams.
* They communicate with a small transmitter they found, believed to once belong to one of their captors.
* The ceiling in Server 5 has holes or "passages". Some of their fellow captives have been taken through these passages in a blaze of light. They refer to this as the "second taking".
* They describe their daily work as repairing connections (conjectured to be power connections) and filling passages. They receive two meals per day.
* Some, if not all, of the doors of Server 5 are marked with the symbol on Dr. Munchen's notes (looks like a capital H with a vertical line through the center).
* They claim that Dr. Munchen was a captive with them in the recent past until he suffered the "second taking".
* Before he was gone, Dr. Munchen shouted "menace-media" (in binary-ASCII, for some reason) to his fellow captives. That is what led us to you. They believe following his words and finding his notes are they key to their freedom.
* They claim that Jin is also missing as of very recently (more recently than Dr. Munchen).
* Lisa is distrustful of Anne. Apparently, Anne said her last name was Parson, but Lisa found a sheet of paper in Anne's room with the name "Anne Mooney.

I know that all of this seems very far-fetched, but I must ask you to believe what I say. As you can see, we had several reasons for being less than forthcoming with during our early communications you. Firstly, we did not want to be dismissed as insane people. Secondly, we did not know if you were connected with the captors in any way. Again, although we do not have great reason to trust you, you profess to trust Dr. Munchen and right now he is the only person in this entire mess we have any reason to trust. Many of my peers probably do not agree with my decision to share this much information with you. However, I feel that only a level of trust between you and us will help us solve this mystery.

With regards to the "beyond the grave claim", it seems we are talking about two different people who were presumed dead: Anne Mooney and Dr. Munchen. We have three possibilities:
1. Someone is lying about who they really are.
2. These people never actually died and were "taken" to Server 5.
3. These people did indeed die and are communicating with us somehow.

Since Dr. Munchen's words (numbers) "menace-media" led us to you, I find #1 very unlikely. However, at this time I do not have many answers. I am only conveying what I know in the hopes that a trust bond will be formed and that we can stop wasting time being distrustful of one another and spend our time trying to discover what is really happening and whether there is anything we can do to help. I await your reply with great interest.

"taken" and replaced by someone called Carl. There is a third contact,
Lisa, who I haven't spoken to.

They all experienced the "first taking", a bliding white light,
massive pain in their heads, then voices, cries of agony then the next
thing the remember is waking up in the metal rooms. None of them
remember much before the first takings. From what we know, the second
taking is death. Apparently Dr Munchen experienced this second taking
after he left notes for us to find. One of his notes was in binary,
which lead us to menace-media. That is why I asked how menace-media
came about.

Believe me, I want to trust you, and I want you to trust me.

I believe Anne is lying about something, altho I'm not sure what.

Please, feel free to ask me any questions you might have and I will answer them

 		Alright, so after that last post I realized my three-word reply was rather pitiful. His reply definitely sounded like bait. I got the feeling Lisa was important to him (maybe he knew her before she was taken...maybe he was the lover she spoke of...). So I decided to send another reply:

Let's see how far this gets us. It's time we take this bull by the horns a bit. Note the phrase "informative and substantial communication". It seems he took my use of the word "reply" quite liberally in his latest email.

@Puppy_Zwolle: Why thanks! I don't know whether you are referring to the quality of my letter or the quantity of my posts. If it's the letter, all I can say is that I've had practice carefully crafting letters in my personal life. If it's the quantity of posts and the fact that they're all during the work day - work has been slow and frustrating for me lately and this has been a nice sanity diversion!
