I got the pic from my first download of the zip-file. Most parts of the letters are only 1 pixel wide and color is about 2-5% offset to the background. Resizing or compressing even a little and the letters are 'gone'.

The following is assuming Jordan's account of the why and how of the server is correct:

We must keep in mind that the beach the doc is walking on is not a beach. Hey, he's a 15 year old 90 year old, he's not even totally himself. His body is not even a body just like a body.

Maybe there is a beach like on an island, it is circular and leads to the place you started.

Maybe this 'beach' has no sea as it (like the body) only represents a beach. It could be the outeredge of the server.

Remember the movie:"The Truman Show"? In his case the edge was the sky (made of concrete) Maybe this sea is no sea/water but the outerlimit of the server. Just some leftover space.

To swim or go beneath could be refering to leaving the server at that spot... but what to do? Dig? Swim? "There is no spoon"

Problem: If we are to "free the doc", what are we freeing? His body is dead. And what do we free the doc to? Not our world thats for sure. He'd be something like a ghost here.

This perhaps is a meta-problem, maybe, but could be something in the story.

This unscheduled musical interlude has been driving me crazy ever since I saw the letters made 'the bean'.

Hi all,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been lurking and following these crazy and frustrating updates, though. I am sorry to report that there is no news from Jordan. If we don't figure something out soon, I will attempt to draw some information out of him. I could start asking him about his site since there's no reason for me not to know about any of this. I could also offer him a "spy report" on what all of you are doing. Fake of course, just to get stuff out of him.

For now, I say we keep working with what we have (args aren't fun if the characters just give you all the answers) and wait for more contact from Munchen. Unless of course he's fallen off the beach. Then we're just screwed.

What a strange way to start a conversation: "Munchen Brings Word"? Sounds somehow like a prophet who wants to lead his crowd to some other place. Well finally he wants to lead the other matzai to some other place, doesn't he?

Caspian, can you please ask Jordan, what those "passages" are good for? I think we need some more information on that so we can tell Munchen, whether he should go on with his investigations on the passage of corridor three or not.
I wonder, why he is certain about the passage that nobody has been taken through that one for now.

Why can't he cope, when he is brought back to the beach, if he walks through that passage? Any ideas of what kind of symbolism a beach is good for?

I was wondering if he was in contact with someone else at the same time, which happened the last time we talked, during this session. He seemed to take a very lond time with responding to questions, which I assume were pre-written, or maybe they were typed in word/notepad and cut/pasted into IM since you can usually see when someone is typing.

The schizophrenia angle will always keep us guessing now but I would have to agree that Jordan and Munchen are not the same person.

Something in the parent directory of menace-media.com has been changed yesterday (have a look at the dates here), but I cannot make out yet what that is/was. Does anyone else has found out anything about that? Maybe there are some new and hidden files online and we have to unveil them.
