 		Hi i.p. 18 is tough. The egg wasn't so hard but I don't know if it has any relationship to the answer.

I finished 18. The egg does relate to the answer.

Sorry, i couldnt relpy to that. Since im not from the US, we have a major time difference and by the time you replied i was already asleep.
Nice work with 18 and i think Matt_ already got you started on 19. Smile

 		I tried staring at the numbers until the time was very late. I tried staring at the numbers until I was crosseyed. I tried staring at the numbers, until I lost my mind.
Here's what I've tried so far that didn't work:

converting the numbers using base 10 or something similar, adding up the numbers and searching for the sum, using the numbers w/ the poem like a book cipher

If anyone wants to bounce any ideas around PM me Smile

tried converting to ASCII using this tool (this is me assuming that it's binary... there are links to hexadecimal and octal converters there as well though.)

 		This is what I have been doing. It's not a spoiler but some people may not want to read what others have been researching

I've been searching for the number string all morning. No luck. I thought it could be a homophonic code so I tried that. The results were gibberish so I tried roting it (rot 3), nothing.

I was looking for websites that might relate to the picture that ended in net....NET being the name of the picture on 19.

I searched for the colors, black, white, gray, red. Nothing. I don't seem to be able to come up with an idea that uses the info in the source or the hints Matt gave.

Oh yeah, I thought about source and searched source. I got Sourceforge.net which is all open source stuff. I also searched for the source of wikipedia and found Nupedia but that doesn't go anywhere.


I need some new clues

I too am pretty lost on this one, but here's what I've been looking at for what it's worth:

Thinking that any world government would have to be based on energy or oil(stay up late/burning the midnight oil). I tried inputing the numbers as latitute and longitude(decimal & time) to see if I could find a specific spot/country/shipping lane(route in the poem).

I searched various cases of monopolies. Put the numbers as ip addresses and got sita.net and att.com. Since interNIC has a monopoly on domain registration, I tried various terms dealing with interNIC.

ALSO

With the "........................................=..." in the source I'm thinking we might have to input the numbers into an equation which will give us a 3 digit answer. The fact that there are 3 dots and the background is 3 makes me think the method used to decode this will have something relationship to the number 3.


Basically I have nothing.

not a big spoiler just my thoughts

oki so we all know that 76=3 ... right? but why lol .. i cant find it .. i tried everything counting the letters in both poems to see if they correspond to a word or something... also checking the distence of letter 76 and three if they are the same ... well they are in one case but i think this is a coincidence only... i tried that on the normal text as well as no spaces and then no commas.. but still nothing stands out as something ..

i also thought that 076 is the third number in the series of the numbers.. which owul dmake 57 the first and 58 the second and so forth.. but that didnt do much either ... hmmm

is this a math thing or a simple thing (as usual..)

I just want to say that when you post that i think you should post what level your writing about that way when someone looks for a certain level they can tell what level your talking about. BTW im still on level 11.
