Uh...so, 2D and brightly coloured, with customers who have only four digits on each hand? Eek...
Seriously, thank you for the info, original post updated to reflect it
Cheers
J
N.B. Can you check the address over and make sure if it's not the same place, or it has moved, let me know, thanks.

Never knowingly dressed as orcs Hi Spugmistress.
I hope you've had a chance to pop into Fan Boy Three in Manchester since posting. We have quite a promising Perplexcity community, with Dave, Daryl, Dom, Simon and his partner Chris. We're even thinking of scheduling a Perplexcity swap-and-solve meet in early December if you're interested.

Well, Forbidden Planet in London may stock them, but have no idea what they are or what they are for...
I've walked in several times, and there's a box at the downstairs till, sometimes its been empty, other times they have some packs in there. The staff don't seem to know when they will get wave 2, or if they already have them ( they do seem to have a lot of telephone extensions they can call to get no answers though.)
One staff member just said they were trading cards for a "yu gi oh type game"...

Scottish Suppliers I have some small influence on a little shop based in Edinburgh. Its not normally the sort of shop to sell PXC cards, but as the only 2 places we know of in Scotland are so far north, I wondered whether anyone on the board was more central Scotland and would like them to be stocked there.
If there is some support (so they know they will make at least a little cash) I can encourage them to stock the cards.
Post here or PM me and I'll see what I can do.

Since when is Norwich and Ely in the Midlands?
Im from Norwich and it really narks me off when stupid people put East Anglia down as the Midlands.
Theres a brilliant comic/card shop, where my brother lives which would also like to sell the cards. They have been asking firebox for details but to no sucess. Prob cos firebox thinks Kings Lynn is up north, like EAST anglia is in the midlands. Stupid.

Please allow me to extend my heartfelt apologies to the geographically displaced peoples of Norwich and Ely. However, that said, could I possibly direct your attention to the very first post on this thread...it went something like this...
Quote:
Please drop me a message if I've made any typo's or glaring geography errors and I'll correct them. Feel free to add any new stockists on here too, or likewise just message me and I'll incorporate them into this post.
As I've clearly made a locational faux pas, if you can tell me where I should place Norwich and Ely, I'll correct it.
Also, on your other point regarding "Stupid" people, those at Firebox this time, please see this point, also in the original post....
Quote:
Please find below the latest list of UK retailers who are stocking the PxC cards. Feel free to add any new that you might encounter, or if you have any potential additions to the list, dash off a missive to retailSPLATmindcandydesign.com
Cards are still available in the normal manner from Playlounge in London, and of course Firebox
Firebox don't sell the cards onto other retailers, I believe that there is another agency which handles that side of things for Mind Candy - I'm sure that the Retail address above can put you in touch, but if they can't, I think I have an address for them around here somewhere.
So. Hope that helps on both counts.

W00t! I can't believe I missed this! Nothing to do with me directly sure, but I'd like to think it had something to do with the sticker/card promocaust* I conducted all around my town

I was pottering round the internet, and found this site: http://www.jaffasworld.co.uk
Might be handy for those with Fireboxophobia, or anyone out in the sticks.
They sell packs, and single cards (price seems to vary according to card colour) so could be useful for getting those elusive ones if you're willing to pay - reds seem to be £0.15, going up to silvers at £13.75 (eeeeeek!) . Mind you, could still work out cheaper than being fleeced on eBay. And it says there's free postage in the UK.

Jaffas World Wicked......just checked out the site, and had to say, MAGIC.....free postage if you spend £2.50.......EASY!!!!
They also sell the full retail boxes, so if anyone has some severe PerplexCity fetish......eat your heart out!!!!!
Have done quite a bit of surfing myself, and to be honest the prices are quite good......esp with free postage!!!!
