well i got in contect with one of splinternails old friends and got the confirm that its the same guy... i contacted her using my LJ and gave her the info to be able to contact him.

in turn it seems he recived my LJ addy and posted this on my last entry

 		The site updated with a new pic. Looks like a closed gate.

If you highlight the jpg you will see the text written on it. Here's what i could make out.

"You say you (?) been here before trapped in the escape;

The (?) of the (?) is that we come to late.

The "?" are words i wasn't sure about or couldn't make out.

yay for seeing that text, draghkar.. i completely missed it. can anyone desteg this jpg? i don't have the tools on my mac.

should we lose the 6's and just look at the
F21B5? (i'm horrible with codes but i'll snoop around and
try a couple things with this one)

edit:when i sub letters for the numbers = FUBE or FBABE
or including all the numbers = FFFBFAFBFE
take away all the F's and we have "BABE"
aha "BABE"! Laughing (as i said, i stink with codes)

the fact that there is the use of 13 in qu13e may be a bit of a clue with its association with bad luck and all.

also i dont have time for this now but if anyone wants to dig on it, i was wondering what a list of words that qu13e has replaced in quotes so far in the game.

But thats uhm... wel it produces letters so it could be something.

I thought the 13 was supposed to be a B. Like QUBE instead of QU13E.

Yes i noticed that earlyer too. And I believe it was new.
