[META] Coordination Contacts - The Legion of Specters Some of you might've noticed that a few of us have Legion of Specters listed in our Affiliations on the profile pages. This is a designation for anyone willing to act as a contact for people attending live events. This thread will hopefully act as a list for anybody who plans on attending and needs to quickly and easily find a contact.
If you wish to act as an online contact for people attending Tombstone Hold 'Em events, reply here and PM your phone number to me . Be sure to include time zone information to make it easier on folks that are attending events. If you feel so inclined, go ahead and add the League of Specters to your Affiliations. Anybody who responds wishing to be a contact will be added to the list in this post to make access as simple as possible.
EDIT: Seeing as how the Legion has changed from original layout, I've decided to mark this with players that have actually been good enough to make the calls for the events. If you've made a call, your name goes here. Woo.
If you are searching for an online contact, please PM me with your information (your phone number and the event that you plan on attending). Your number will then be passed on to an available contact, who's number you will also be receiving before the event.

Magesteff, reporting for duty. I'll go put minutes on my phone this week.
Eastern Time Zone. Not able to travel to events at this point (although still hoping for a possible Atlanta trip if I can manage it).
*edit*
Minutes loaded, and Information officers notified.

I am in the Pacific Timezone, however, I would be happy to act as an online contact for any event except the LA one because I'm gonna be there if I have to gnaw my own arm off... And I can't think of a reason I would have to so I'll be there with both my arms.

I will be online and on the phone. I have unlimited long distance from both my cell and landline so I can place calls to people if needed.
Who is accumulating the phone numbers? Should it be more than one person?

Ooooh! Mememe!
I'm PST and willing to go all in (full pun in tended) for the SF Event.
Additionally speaking, to address Rose's question, perhaps we should put together a Yahoo or LJ group?
Thoughts?

Nobody, really. I figured if a person needed a contact they could just PM anybody on the list to see if they're available, and exchange numbers as such.

coordinate Being a veteran of the Failed Heist Attempt at Coachella, my own personal Failure at Jones Beach and an onlooker at the initial Repulse at Evergreen cemetery, I highly recommend that one or two people collect numbers from the people attending and the people helping on-line.
It is going to be a bit confusing with both the update and the live event happening on Saturday.
As SpaceBass once warned me "anything can happen at live events, they are very hard to control."
The more redundancy we have in the system the better.

Yah, redundancy is good. I was tentatively pinged as an online contact for someone going to the SF event, but I told him I could not guarantee being online (I'll be out of town), so it would be good for people to be able to branch a tree of numbers somehow, if absolutely needed.

With any luck, cel phone reception will be better at these locations then they were in out-in-the-middle-of-no-where Coachella.
Taking a page both from the Heist/Coachella experience and I Love Bees, I would suggest that everybody arrive early to figure out where pay phones are and bring lots of change... Just in case.
