[Unlikely Viral?] Sublymonal

Alright, alright, now, before you give me guff, hear me out...

I've been seeing these Sprite-themed "Sublymonal" commercials now for a month-ish. Being an enjoyer of the sublime and one who likes to look for the well-hidden, I enjoy that they poke fun at just about everything else viral out there these days. It's so blatantly obvious, how could it possibly be viral itself?

So, the other day, I went to YouTube to look for the commercials to show to a friend, and it turns out that several of them are hosted there by the company itself. With codewords, to be used at their official site ... but then I went there, and they flash even more code words at you.

Now, I would never go so far as to insinuate that there's a full on game to be had here, but certainly, might it be worth the efforts of a few to try and discover all the site has to offer? (Granted, most of what I've found have either been nifty Flash gimmicks or links to other sites, and also links back to the YouTube hostings of their commercials.)

The most interesting thing so far is a blurb I caught at the bottom of the page I got to when I entered the keyword listen:

Quote:
Loud as a whisper quiet as a lions roar.

It most likely is nothing, but on the off chance that it's something, could it be worth it to look into?

EDIT: The other blurb I keep seeing, and one that might lead to some people taking a good hard look at the commercials themselves, is this:

Quote:
W-h-e-n t-h-i-n-g-s s-l-o-w d-o-w-n y-o-u s-e-e m-o-r-e.

I know Sublymonal is used pretty extensively in TLE. I believe as a front, its viral marketing for sprite, but is used in the aid of other ARGs as well, as is the case with TLE.

Well, at least that provides some interesting reading.

I haven't been an active participant in an ARG (or here, for that matter, unfortunately) since ILB anyway. I really should try to keep up. >_>
