Revomaze an Isis side quest Although this has nothing to do with Sonicwarp or the Isis, other than the inventor, Chris Pitt, being an ex-SW contractor and inventor of the Ramisis, but it seems to have a spark that Isis lovers might just take a liking to.

Chris Pitt did used to work for SonicWarp. To be honest I didn't know he left. He joined up with SW on the NKryptor puzzle with me a while after I started working for SW. Then I got cut out and don't know what happened since. Good luck to him, he was a nice guy. I don't know if he was officially ever employed by SW, but at the time he was the same as me and officially a contractor/consultant to them.

I can see that being true, however Chris has been working on the ReVoMaze 1 for quite some time; a couple of years I believe. The thing is that the ReVoMaze 1 BU, GR, CU, AG, and AU are internally way different. So the question is, which one was supposed to be the Nemisis (Isis 3)? I doubt that it was supposed to be the Isis 3. He was only a contractor for SW for the one project; Project RAMISIS.
Chris states that he's never seen the Isis 3 in any form and the ReVoMaze 1 was never intended to be the Isis 3.
I suggest everyone reads the terms and conditions under the contest section. Wow great things to come. And it doesn't stop there, sounds like Chris has some bitchin' surprises for us.
I just bought my set and am excited to know the launch date is the 19th of March. On the plus side I don't think there is any chance of push backs.

on order Just ordered mine today, there is a pre release offer price of £50 for the first one on its own, if they do that for all of them it will cheaper than buying the set up front. Looking forward to having a go with it!

Not True!
Ironkong, actually the prerelease price is 49.95 for the puzzle + 9.95 for shipping + 6.95 for the stand = 66.85
multiply that by 5 = 334.25
However, the price is going up 10 GBP after the 19th of March. So figure 60 each. so 60 * 5 = 300. which is the price of the set, however for that 300 you get free shipping and your choice of the set stand or the individual stands. i calculate that a saving of 84.50 and that doesn't even include the puzzle price increase.
not to mention if you care what puzzle numbers you get, ordering the whole set will ensure that all 5 of your puzzles are the same number.
since you did already buy 1 puzzle, contact chris by pm or email and he will cut you a deal so that you can get the other 4 with the same number and the total cost will still be at 300. hes great with the customer service stuff!

smart arse! Fair enough i stand corrected on the price issue, i would love to have ordered a full set but paying for one at a time is a bit better on my pocket as i can spread the cost over several pay packets. The wife would kill me if i bought the lot up front, she lets me get nearly all the stupid toys that i want including over priced first edition books etc, didin't want to push my luck on this one. Although it is a good saving for thoses who can do it.
Looking forward to getting started!
As for having all the same numbers i can understand the appeal i just feel im not hardcore enough for that as long as they all work i can live with different numbers.
Thanks for the correction i wouldn't want to be responsable fro missleading anyone.
Good luck!

Re: smart arse! cant say i blame you. if it hadn't been for my company handing out annual bonuses every February, i would be in the same boat as you. i just got lucky and went with it. i am hoping that chris comes out with sets after the second week of february every year so that i always have that bonus money to buy em.

Caved in!! After posting that i thought i wasn't hardcore enough to want all the same numbers i went away and within the hour i had to admit that i am a hardcore puzzle geek and that having a set with all the same number is important!
Chris has kindly agreed that i can have all the number 26's. I feel ashamed im on a slippery slope to geekdom and possibly bankrupt from excesssive puzzle purchases!!!

Re: Caved in!! i so understand where you are coming from. so do you just have the verbal from chris or did you commit the cash? once i talked to chris and he was more than willing to hold my set number for me, i felt very comfortable buying the set because my word was good enough. and if my word is good enough from this far away, then his is too.
