A lot of email software will not display the actual name of the person that you've sent the email to, but rather the name as you've stored it in your personal address book, which may contain spelling errors.

Both good reasons, but they don't tally. If it was case 1, why would an email have an invalid "from:" field? If it was case 2, it would be like that across the board and always have the spelling mistake..... it doesn't.

It's probably best to not make any assumptions without more info, but I'd say it's worth keeping an eye on at least.

Didn't see this one on wiki when I was on there a couple of days ago, so here goes:

Hiya - sorry, you know I said I was coming down with something? Well, it's turned into definite flu: headache, achey joints etc. I don't think I can make it tonight. Scarlett's coming, though, isn't she? I'm sure it'll be a great success as usual.

OK. If you want to know what he did for me, this is it: when I was arrested (remember that? remember how you *didn't* come to see me, send me a message....?) Garnet stayed with me in the police station. He came to see me and talk to me. He helped me find good defence lawyers. And when I was released, he switched apartments with me, so that I didn't have to deal with all that media for a while. OK? That's what he did for me. Come back when you've done as much. Oh, and I won't be coming to dinner this evening.

switched apartments, eh? Razz

Put it back. She'll only end up blaming Von again, and you know how he can't say no to her.

Is it me or is the email dated 9 Sept. 2005 9.36am far better suited at 9.46? Garnet and Caine are talking about their wild night out and the conversation currently appears to start with thanks for chucking lemonade of something and then the question how are you. 9.46am is the perfect position for the lemonade chucking as Garnet has just mentioned something was on fire and then replies 'no problem', these messages being at 9.45 and 9.47.

Whether this is a mistake someone made in copying their email across (nigh impossible) or another one of those pesky MC glitches, I don't know, but it seems pretty clear that that's how it should go.

Maybe copy/paste it in here and let us see what the goobledegook is? Maybe a code...or, er...might just be gibberish....

That looks like it could be corrupted ASCII numbers... I would put money on it being some kind of code, could be a record of a deleted email, or an encrypted email. In which case it could be some form of XOR encryption.

I've had a busy night and solved 8 groups of 4 so got 8 leeked emails. I checked on wiki and all of them are already in there. Is anyone getting new leeks or do we now have most of the leeks do we think?

Just wondering.
