LCP/Gun trailer clips First new post for me! [cough] Anyway.
So in the LCP/Gun trailer, they use clips from the movies. And I can identify almost all of them. What's bugging me is the last few seconds. It looks like Lucy, who's wearing the same clothes as she is at the poker showdown, lying on the floor, laughing and covered in blood.
What's that from? Is it a movie we've yet to see? Wouldn't it take place before her driving off in the Mustang?

I think it might have been a bit that got snipped from the last movie. It looks like it would happen right where you said it should....right before she drives off, she is laughing a bit. Just crouching...not laying down.

Re: LCP/Gun trailer clips Or the evil PMs shot a fake scene and threw it in on purpose so we'd all think that Lucy was gonna buy it.

Well, she doesn't seem injured. She seems happy. I supposed "covered in blood" is exaggerating. There's just spatter. Only thing I can think of is that the PMs cut it for time, but... that wouldn't really be a concern for them.

Heh. I took it as a "laughingly crazily while dying" thing.

Perhaps it was an alternate ending for if we didn't manage to get through to Kerry?

As if that would have occurred???? The answering machine alone shows how many different folks relayed the necessary information (man, that must have been one crazy tape to listen to, splice and recut).
It was weird hearing everyone (and even heard my little snip as well; wish now I had identified myself instead of being anonymous).

Video Clip Or maybe if Lucy goes for the Gun to kill Don? That just didn't seem likely though. [aside - I guess Kerry is smarter than a sack of hammers, he solved that messy problem pretty neatly and in a way I hadn't forseen happening.]
On the other hand, Kerry did take a powerful heap of convincing. He listened to that message, what three times? And it did tend to ramble.
They had me at hello, or rather, the person after me, had me at "this is...". And I liked j5's contribution about protecting Lucy as well as the person who said "remember kiwi". I had forgotten "kiwi" and could barely choke out anything encouraging to say to him at all.
I liked the audio of everyone's voices, it was a nice homage to i love bees -where the audio of the player's voices were common game elements -and a way for us to start to say goodbye.
How many hours til LA starts?
HAVE FUN ALL YOU LA PLAYERS!!
Don't forget the good bye. Thanks for all your work Kona!
(I'll be in IRC and on the phone tomorrow keeping track of the event. )
