 		Best phone buddy - SpaceBass (stuck with me): three events, LA, NY, SF

New category: Best small favor place finder - bagsbee for NY; krystyn for Chicago; Hawk for London ( he needs to get credit for that!)

New Category: Best all-around player - Shad0 - victor's shrine, 5 spades ( cards found - note he would have had more but he gave away at least one name),2 live events, 13 small favors, tournament player by invitation at least once, great phone contact for events, wiki updater and helpful forum poster.

 		Just to clarify the Most Miles Travelled category, it's working on the most miles travelled to a single event...not overall, sorry for any confusion in that. And also very sorry to imbri but it doesn't count...i feel so bad about that. But just to honor you I'll add a Most Miles Travelled in Total...(Let the flames of unfairness begin!)

I am no longer accepting new categories to stop the list from getting cluttered. Check the first post for categories that desperately need nominations

EDIT: SO MUCH EDITING. As you may have noticed i've removed the EDITs from the first post....i'm moving all the information into this one, easy to handle EDIT in a newer post.

I'm still accepting Nominations via IRC PM...please none in Forum PMs...i never get that stuff

We have hit a Grand Total of 53 Nominations spread over 28 categories...but we still need more, keep 'em coming guys!

LOL, I already got "Most Patient Explainer" for ILB -- I don't need a special award for this game, especially since I was essentially MIA for two weeks. But thanks for the thought. Smile

I second this nomination! I'm generally not a fan of best player type things (so many contribute in so many ways), but I think he's very deserving of such a title. In addition to everything rose mentioned, he's also incredibly patient and entertaining story teller. I missed much of the last few weeks and on Friday night he gave one of the best game updates that I've ever heard.
Afterwards, I really felt as if I had a great understanding of small details that I may have missed even if I had been able to follow every little detail as much as I'd have liked.

Yeah, in general I'm not a fan of best-player things but in this case I think there are substantial grounds for an exception. I third the nomination. Smile

I wish to nominate HBK-4-Life and Hot_Pie for Worst Poker Player. (This has nothing to do with their poker-playing abilities. If it did, I'd nominate myself.)
I wish to nominate Matt Viet for Biggest Over-reaction.
I wish to nominate poor Kristen Rutherford for Worst Hairdo on an Avatar.
I wish to nominate yanka for Best Live Event Picture (Including Small Favors), for her picture of krystyn and Lucky (which I believe qualifies as a "secret" for Armageddon Jones). If that does not qualify, then I wish to nominate ahecht and Speaker.
I wish to nominate HitsHerMark for Funniest Video From Live Events. (I am assuming that this category is for performance, not cinematography.)
I wish to nominate Jane McGonigal for Biggest Collection of Tombstone Hold'Em Chips.
I wish to nominate Finding Victor Simko Aldridge for Best Puzzle.
I wish to nominate Lucy for Best Bathtub Scene. I also wish to point out that this category is clearly rigged, inasmuch as no one else even had a bathtub scene.
I wish to nominate Ambrose Bierce for Best Death.
I wish to nominate Thunderclap8 for Best Spec, for essentially figuring out on October 19 or so that Lucky had found the diamonds in the Gun back in 1945.

I wish to nominate Kerry Tucker (Alive) and Victor Simko Aldridge (Offline) for Bestest Character.

I wish to nominate imbri for Highest Total Number of Miles Travelled (Tombstone Hold'Em only).
I wish to nominate Who Saw Mo Pikar Give the Gun to Lucky Brown for Biggest Unsolved Mystery.
