wiki

Very interesting. I just found out about this a couple of days ago and I am trying to catch up. I started a wiki for myself to help me organize the data but then I thought I would let everyone know about it so we could share data in a central location. http://www.munsy.net/wiki

Anyone is free to use it if they wish. Not a lot there yet. Again, I just started a couple of days ago. Looks like fun!

Welcome, munsy, and that wiki may prove really useful in the future! Smile

Right now, there's not a whole lot to catch up on -- the game hasn't started yet.

I applied to be a friend on Poor Richard's myspace a few days ago - as expected, no response yet. But good news: The Metro Park at the mall near me is supposed to be carrying the Edoc line. And, I just got a snazzy new digital camera...expect pics as soon as I can get 'em up. Wink Well, first the clothes have to arrive there. THEN it will be 'as soon as I can get 'em up'. Rolling Eyes

I don't know how relevant this is to anything, but it did strike me as odd...
On Poor Richard's site, in the news seciton, it claims that Al died on 12/24/2004. But in the Chinatown clip, it says there were only hours to his death on Chinese New Year, which, according to my calendar, is January 29. Confused Those dates are pretty far apart. Maybe it's just a mistake by Elan or something, but I was poking around impatiently and found it...just thought I'd share.

Also as pointed out on the wiki, there is a discrepancy in the name of the manager of Poor Richard. In the news section (http://www.poorrichardmusic.com/news and http://www.munsy.net/wiki/index.php?title=Poor_Richard_News) it lists his name as both Al Levine and Alex Hampton. Another mistake?

BTW, if Alex died (at least near) late 2004/early 2005, wouldn't the associated Chinese New Year have started February 9th, 2005? Still a huge discrepancy from the date in the news section of the web site.

Code:

Rooster  You      2005 February 9    2017 January 28

Ah, good point on the Chinese New Years date, munsy. Embarassed I just looked over and there it was on my calendar...didn't even think about the years. I did notice the Levine/Hampton change also...very odd.
Though I'm also led to believe that I'm accidentaly turning general information into 'clues' because I'm dying for this thing to start!

further seems forevr!?!?

holy crap!!! i just read through this ENTIRE thread...lol. every page, i grew more and more interested...and then i read this.

Quote:
FSF are breaking apart as a band, and are according to their site doing final show(s) in "early 2006". Most interestingly their most recent Album was entitled 'Hide Nothing'. Maybe somehow some of the ex FSF band members are involved here?

I FRICKIN LOVE FSF!!!! i've been listening to them since their first album- back when chris carraba (dashboard confessional) was their lead singer. they have gone through some pretty rough times though, as far as singers are concerned; 3hree albums, 3hree different singers, so it doesn't suprise me that they are breaking up and though it definitely saddens me that this amazing band is no mas, i find myself ecstatic over the possibility of some of the members having something to do with this amazing (new to me) world of ARG. holy crap. you have definitely found a player. i will be saving my money and collecting all of these shirts. hahahahaha. holy crap. *excitement*

Very Happy Hullo medioxcore.

Nice to see there really ARE some other people coming into this. This will be my first ARG aswell, and I'm trying to get my friends interested, but only one of them seems to understand the game...^^" Anyway, I'm glad I won't be the only rookie. I have someone to mess stuff up with now! Razz

I emailed Metro Park about Edoc, and they said they hadn't confirmed anything or set any definite dates, but that I should keep checking in my local store, even before March. I may head to the mall tomorrow to have a look around. I've never been in that store...all I know is they have very loud music and a great big green wall in front of the entrace, like they don't want you to come in. 'Lil intimidating for me. Laughing

Me too!

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to add myself to the list of players! I can't wait! I have been jonesing for an ARG but nothing has caught my eye in awhile, either that or it catches my eye well after it starts...been busy with graduating and then work. Anyways, yay, jumping in at the beginning, and also so you know, I'm in KC, so there is a store near me. More yays!

I played Sable and Shuck for awhile before school took over my life, and I was heavily involved with ReGenesis. Can't wait til another season of that starts!! Um...followed ILB, that's what got me into ARGs. That's all I remember right now!

EDIT: Didn't want to double post, I thought of something and I [i]think[/i] I found something. I though that maybe the FSF band thing..maybe that's just the band that is playing Poor Richard for the story. Like, it's not a separate band that has something to do with this, just they are helping out, playing a part, and they want a little recognition for it.

And what I found. I am drooling over these shirts. I was looking in the women's apparel, at the first shirt listed "Crown" I believe it is. When you click on the shirt it does a closeup. Anyways the squiggly line leading to the dove, from the crown, it looks like words. Very scrawly words. The lower one in the closeup screen (leading to the blue bird you can see) says "you" in it. The other squiggle you can see says something, I can see letters kinda, but I can't turn my head that far to read it easily. If someone knows how to pull pics from the flash it could be zoomed and turned. Just a thought. Though they would probably rather us buy the shirts than try to decode them online. Wink Which I plan on doing.

Good call on the ladies shirt.

The squigly lines do in fact read...

True, but somebody else came up with the idea of it dancing until it exploded. I tried, but couldn't find the comment on Phaedra's LiveJournal.
