Has your favorite playing card been taken already?

Check out the free downloadable promo cards for a game from WizKids called High Stakes Drifter.

It's an old west themed game CCG with Historical Characters and such. If you look at the page Gear 1 you'll find a Navy Colt... You know you want it. It's shiny in that "Firefly" kinda way.

If I had not already sent my card into Phaedra I would have swiped that for myself... (Well, that or "Saloon Acquaintance" or Bad Chili.)

By my count, that's seven spaces left. If they're not filled, that's not a problem. If they do get filled, and there are still more people who want to participate, we'll either do duplicates or throw in some Tarot cards...or gank someone else's brilliant idea.

However, to make my life easier, I'm afraid I'm going to have to set a deadline for signing up to participate. And that deadline is:

DECEMBER 7.

It's a Wednesday, like Update Day, and it's a seven, and it is also the day by which you must tell me you want one of those remaining cards, mmkay?

I pm and post to try to reserve the 6 of spades. I always liked spades best because they made no sense. A spade is a shovel with a SQUARE END. Both of my kids sport "6" on their soccer team uniforms! This was also Brandi Chastain's number before she became a soccer announcer!

What does this have to do with LCP? Um ... cards?

Okay, I'd like to remind everyone that the deadline for signing up for a card is:

December 7

As of yet, there are four slots remaining:

After these slots are taken, if there are additional people who want to participate, we'll figure out what to do.

Please review the following list. If you aren't there, and you're supposed to be, please let me know. If you aren't there, and you want to be, please let me know.

After the deadline, when I have a final list of people participating, I will collect addresses to send the cards, and disseminate my own for the people who are sending in their own cards.

• If I am sending a card to you, please do not PM me with your address just yet. It risks getting lost, because I'm getting a lot of PMs right now, and the ones at the bottom of the inbox disappear as new ones come in.
  
• If you are sending your own card to me, please do PM me and ask for my address.

Here is the updated card list. I'll delete the earlier versions in other posts so no one gets confused.

The people who have stars next to their names are those who have indicated that they already have a card of their own that they'd like to use. I will send cards, as well as a self-addressed stamped envelope (addressed to me, that is) to everyone else. As I receive the finished cards, I will put the names of those from whom I have received a card in bold.
