Forgive my noobiness, but what's this "chat" I see people posting about?

 		The 'chat' is a bonus prize for the finalists of the competition:

All finalists are eligible to participate in a private online chat with Orbicon COO, Steven Mae. Finalists will be able to ask Steven questions about the space station, space elevator and what it is like to live on an orbital colony.


I'm guessing it will be either a chat room or messenger conversation. The finalists will have a chance to grill Steven Mae.

I think we should ask about his family/social life on the station. Steven Mae is supposed to be the main character in this arg so we need to find out as much as we can about him.

Are you able to use IRC? If so, and if they allow others to watch, would you be willing to log the whole chat and post it in the forum? Most of the people who are part of the press conference will be attempting to do this, but if the chat moves fast, it can be difficult. It is always nice to have someone there whose only responsibility is logging the chat. Smile

 		Where did you find the channel? I went to EFnet.org, searched for #namethatrock but it doesn't appear to exist! Maybe I'm doing somethign wrong.. Ive never used EFnet before.

 		Well only about an hour and a half before the chat starts, unfortunatly I will be unable to watch otherwise I would have logged it, I really do hope to see a transcript of the chat on UF tommorrow morning <anxious>
