I got a Premium system.
Perfect dark Zero
Gun
DOA4
Call Of Duty 2
Condemed
Kameo
Are the only 5 games I have right now. Although, I DO have preorders in for Ghost Recon: AW, Gears of War and Full Auto.
Fugitive, you are a good man sir and I commend you for what you did. It takes a good person to sacrifice things for another and those people are far too few in this world. I hope that you get your system soon. If you don't, PM me here and we will see what we can do.

One of my coworkers at Target who got me the job in the first place has a plan in motion at the moment in which he will attain a Premium system for me a half hour before the store opens tomorrow.
It seems as though Microsoft instructed stores to intentionally hold some systems until Black Friday.
Whether or not the stores comply is a store-by-store issue, since they are not legally bound to withhold units from sale post-launch.
If all goes well, I will be on Perfect Dark Zero tomorrow (I work at Target from 10am to 6:30pm though, so in the evening is the best bet).

What I've found rather disgusting is the fact that eBay has 360 Premiums with a Buy It Now price of over $1 million.
I'll just wait a while, thank you very much.

I heard you can fix it by boiling your 360.

No no, you have to trace around the logo with a green Sharpie.

360 Premium
1 Kameo - love it
2 Call of Duty 2 - loved it at the zero hour event (as soon as walmart gets another copy so I can trade my unopened PD0 for it)
Will be purchasing:
DOA4
King Kong
Oblivion
Gears of War
I do have an extra 360 premium which will be going up on ebay around Christmas. I do expect to make a good amount of profit from it (and need to to get all the games and peripherals I want, and especially to pay the taxes for all the hex winnings), but would definitely give first preference to anyone from here.

bah, i would send you $400 + COD2+ Shipping but that's not gonna touch what you can aim for on eBay.
If you want to eBay it though, I don't know about waiting til Christmas. If for some reason we start getting big shipments in, the prices on eBay will drop fast.
(But if you would settle for $400 + COD2+ Shipping LMK so I can go look for COD2 ASAP!
XP
I *might* be able to add a Play & Charge kit too.)

Yeah our situation, Fugitive's and mine, is that when I had a chance to preorder a 360 I passed due to lack of funds, now I have the money but I can't get it anywhere. So what we decided to do is if Fugitive can get a 360 I'll get his preorder because I won't have any 360 games until Christmas so I can wait. So if you'd like to help us out we'd be very grateful but we understand if you want to sell it on eBay and make some dough.

Yah, not worried about them catching up on shipments. I know people with pre-orders from 2 months ago who are on the after-christmas lists, let alone anybody that didn't pre-order.
So I'm looking at making a minimum of about $900 on ebay, I'd probably let it go for $800 here, but that's not even that much profit and would have to be somebody I really liked . I remember a few years ago when the $300 PS2's were short for Christmas and going for upwards of $2,000 ... that kind of setup would be nice.
360 - $435 (with taxes)
shipping - $75 (average) for overnight
That's $510 right there. And the estimated value of the hex winnings was $1,500 so I figure I'm going to have to make almost $400 just to cover those taxes, probably more like $700. $510+$410 = $910. Game + play and charge kit = $80. Doesn't add up very well. Sorry.

I know people who've got decent prices on EBay... $1000+
(not as good as the $3000 that they sold one for to someone on launch day, but decent nonetheless.)
From what I've heard from my local EB, they're getting just one more shipment of ~50 consoles before Xmas, but that's it until new year.

That's fine but just to specify, at 7.5% for tax on $1500 is only $112.50. Also a $399.99 360 at 7.5% has a tax of 29.99925... so $30. Shipping of a box that weighs in at 7.7 pounds for same day is at most $89.07, least $53.35, or for 2 day delay $15.13 from ID-NV. Lastly make sure it's up before Christmas and you should get what you're looking for because my Game Crazy said that they are expecting to have extras come January, they just don't know exactly when.
Edit: Changed sales tax to 7.5% from 7.25%.
