I kinda regret buying CoD though, online is kinda lacking. PD0, however, has happily ate up all my time since the 22. Its not halo, but in alot of ways it is better.

No jump = no superjump, no 9392384 other jump gliches.
Parralax mapping > bump mapping
INCREDIBLY detailed textures, I can just go up to a wall and just stare at it.
Great weapon variety with many secondary fires
No lag. At least not in the halo 2 sense. The worst I've had is a small drop in framerate(infrequently) and echoing (I blame on headset though, POS).

Online co-op

Rendon & Death defi # 52 & #53 on world leaderboard for mission 13 (same scores, I guess they go reverse alphabetically)

While its not halo, it is a halo replacement till 3 at least, and definitly the best launch title.

Hmm... just found this thread...

Anyways, we had preordered a Premium system bundle* from costco.com a little more than two months ago. Was surprised as hell when we got the notice that it had been shipped on the 22nd, and damn happy when it arrived on the 23rd. Currently have Kameo, PDZ, and Halo 2 (never had an Xbox).

Edit: Just got Call of Duty 2 today!

By the way has anyone played around with the Themes yet? They rock! The Halo theme is especially cool.
If you haven't figured out how to change themes yet you have to press the Guide Button, and then go to "Personal settings". From there you have all your customizations of themes, notifications(yes you can turn off notifications, and I appologize if anyone sent me messages last night as I had turned off my notifications) , audio controls (Headset speaker volume, Mute mic, Speaker output), etc.
Each GamerTag profile stores it's own theme settings, etc.

For those of you who think that the Xbox 360 headset sucks (and it does) and want an alternative....

Xbox 360s went on sale at bestbuy.com around 4:45am and sold out by around 5:00am. I was one of the lucky few that were able to purchase one before it sold out. According to an email that I received from Best Buy I bought it about 7 seconds after it came out. It should be here between Dec. 20-23. On a final note I need to sleep now but, I can't. I'M GETTING A FIGGEN 360!

I got one yesterday! It's still not easy to find one around my area (Fugitive Soldier probably knows that!). I was not going to buy one right now, but I since I cancelled my trip to Brazil during the holidays, I thought getting a 360 would help to spend my time off here, away from family. I spent the week between Xmas and New Year's trying to get one. I was only able to get it yesterday, right the day I got back to work!

But anyway. I got COD2 with it. And I'm loving that game! Talk about adrenaline! I'm very impressed with the graphics (HD rez helps a lot), but mostly I'm impressed with the game atmosphere! It's just feels right! I haven't tried multiplayer yet.

I'm also spending some time with Live Arcade. I got Geo Wars and Zuma. Played with my wife last night and we had some fun. Live Arcade is a GREAT idea and it has sooooo much potential!

I might get DOA4 next or PDZ. I was getting PGR3, but since they removed 4-player split-screen, I refuse to buy it!! If a force feedback wheel gets released, I might reconsider.

PS: If anyone is still having a hard time to get one, try the best buy inventory locator. It works pretty close to real time. That's how I found out one of my local BB had it in stock yesterday.
