Oh, well my thinking was that the person who met with him in the Personal Chat would be using the codes as a bargaining chip of sorts.

Sure, we don't have them yet, but it would still be nice to be able to use it. Sort of like this:

"You give us Andy and we'll crack your code for you"
"Why would I give you the codes?"
"Because without us you won't be able to figure out what they say"
"I will find someone"
"Suit yourself"

We also have some more information that he needs... like who the "informant" is.

We have the upper hand, as far as I can tell. So, no Andy, no nothing. That's basically how I was thinking the conversation should go from here on out.

Too late, it's already been done. He knows that we know about the codes but is refusing to hand them over... something about he doesn't know if we're good enough yet.

I sort of made a smart remark like "Well, we broke your codes. So either we're really good or your really bad at codes." Haven't gotten a reply for that one yet (go figure).

Either way we need two things: the codes and Andy. If we can get the codes before we get Andy, then so much the better. If we get Andy before we have the codes then there is no guarentee that Vincent won't just go out and try to kidnap him again.

Okay, I know what you're thinking now... you're telling yourself "Yeah, but when we give him the decryption to the codes then there will be nothing to stop him from going after Andy again." And you're right. But there is nothing that says that we have to give Vincent the right answer, is there?
