Colin Penrose Not Responsible

sjct at CD received pretty much the same respnse with one exception; Colin has been approached by whoever stole the manuscript ( or maybe one of us?).

Ah, your accusations wound me to the quick. So quick with words of defamatory
assumptions and yet so eager to share in ill-gained knowledge or secrets. You,

my dear, would do well to choose either the moral high ground or the ethical
stature of a snake's underbelly, not vacillate between them.

And as a point of information and clarification, I was not responsible for the

incident you mention, in any way, although, from what I surmise, the
responsible party should be somewhat akin to Robin Hood to you blokes. I can't

tell you how many of you wrote me to tell me how Dame Willingham didn't deserve

the manuscript page in the first place.

Finally, although I swear by my family name of Penrose that I was not involved

in its theft, I have been contacted by a certain party offering to negotiate
with me for it.
