I don't even own this card. What with this and the Angel's Key... I think I need to see someone about my Silvers habit. You start in with the odd Orange or Green, thinking you can handle it, and the next thing you no you're begging Adrian Hon for another fix of that sweet sweet Silver in the middle of the night...

yay, I love collective solves Smile

agreed about the habit...I barely own any wave 2 cards, let alone silvers, so my points may be a long time coming Smile I had tried Fur Elise, actually, among other pieces, but of course they didn't come together.

My original thinking about the Mona Lisa (and hence Fur Elise, admittedly), was that, in Anglo-Saxon, mona = moon; in French, lis = lily (as in, fleur de lis). Not clever enough, but I thought it was intriguing Wink

Thanks.

Just have to wait 24 hours till it unlocks again.

Does anybody know on the perplex city website if there is a list of all the cards that havent actually ever been solved as of yet?

I know you can see individual performance on there own page but can you see a card page where it lists all information about all the cards?

Rolling Eyes I'm kept busy be work and unable to look at the forums for a couple of days, and look what happens.... Congratulations on the solve though, I was on my way to that as seeing the numbers transcribed reminded me of the black card, Harmony.... wouldn't have thought to split it and put it as counterpoint though, well done!

Ammonite, well done finding the piece of music!

What does everyone think the picture was for?

Is it just a red herring?
A clue to the music? It is night time, but I can't see any other connection.
Is there somthing else to the picture?

The pic may have been a red herring (it certainly kept alot of people busy looking at works in glass, and seemingly ignoring the more obvious 'code'). There may be some other connection between Mozart and that picturesque scene....not sure.

Anyone have a scan of the card's back? And a transcription of any text..?

Well, the German translation of 'Eine Kleine Nachtmusik' is 'A Little Night Music' and it's a night scene, so I guess it makes sense. I knew my music degree would come in useful eventually...

On a whim I did a search on Google for:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
AMADEUS RED FLOWER

Just to see if there was anything. There is a red Daylily called Amadeus, but it looks nothing like the picture. Also the picture has it at night, so it may just be a coincidence...

I just solved this (all on my own, feeling very proud right now!) and was just checking in to see if my ideas panned out the same way as on here. What I'm not sure about is exactly how the mubers turn into the notes.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I used the first number as the legnth of the note, the second as the note number. I got something I immediately recognised as the answer, but its not spot on. Is the othe number supposed to be the counterpoint, or the note lengths?
