Well I've ordered one. I'll scan when it gets here, I'm not certain about uploading the music, though. I'll email MC and see what their copyrighting entails.

I spoke to them about it and they 'assume' it will be sold seperately in future-probably before christmas. Frankly they would be silly not to-and they certainly wouldn't go to the trouble of producing a magazine/card holder without making them more wildle available than this. They're just encouraging you to buy a few christmas presents with Firebix.
Well, I won't be buying any Christmas presents from them, unless I come into some money in the next 4 1/2 days because they won't ship 'overseas' during the month of December!
I'm feeling more and more like they're trying to discourage Americans from playing the game. At least, with the latest chain of events (including a contradicting email about vouchers and catalogs), *I* am feeling *very* discouraged, and am almost convinced they can't make me feel any less welcomed to play this game!

Well, Firebox and Mind Candy, whilst they do share some links, are still separate entities. However, I'm sure that neither of them wants to discourage players (after all, the bottom line is that it makes them both money!)
It just seems like it's been a particularly poor run of luck, i.e. Wave 2 comes out, but is mixed with Wave 1 - so they run a special offer for us, to soften the blow. Wave 2 when it comes out initially has a glitch in the shipping - they sort it out within hours. Then they open up the offer, but unfortunately reintroduce the old bug with the P&P...but it's now been rectified, inside two hours of their Customer Service people coming in this morning, so credit where credit is due, they are responsive!

P.S. I'm sure that the "no shipping in December" to overseas destinations isn't by their own choice either, perhaps a personal enquiry to their sales department might bear fruit on this one - if you explain that you'll take your chances on the delivery date, and not phone them at fifteen minute intervals yelling "WHERE IS MY GOODIES?! I KEEEELL YOU!", which, I'm guessing is what has prompted them to issue that blanket statement. Not that I'm saying you would do that you understand, I can just imagine the phonecalls in December when presents haven't shown up in time for Santa's visit.

Just noticed on the more information screen for the offer that it does say not available to buy yet Seems to me this is just your standard BOGOF type offer, as soon as Boxing day hits, it will be available to buy probably all completely seperate!

If anyone gets the Viard album, they will be sending me the mp3s.
Please?
I would so get it if £100/$200 wasn't ridiculously out of my budget.
(But, I did scour the 'net for £25 off in rebates! )
(Just search £5 Firebox and you'll find a bunch.)
EDIT
Mokey's right; it is £100/$200.
I mis-remembered the prizes and went the wrong way on the ratio.
($200?! Sweet monkeyjuice, that's abolutely nuts! Can't blame me for making a more rational guess... )

Isn't 100 pounds more like 200 dollars? There's my main reason for not begging one of you over there to serve as my UK shipping address.

Yeah, and closer to $250 Cdn... no thanks, I don't have that kind of money to throw around.

Sorry, I have to post, I just got an email from Firebox saying that my amazingly large order could possibly arrive tomorrow and all of a sudden I'm hyper. For the record, I had found a large number of things that I was going to buy from Firebox already and viewed this as an opportunity to pay £20 for PXC stuff and get £20 of free weird and wonderful things. That's my justification anyway, I'll let you know if I still feel the same way when the credit card bill arrives.
It goes without saying that, like others, I will search for copyright restrictions and then share whatever MC will let me. But you're not sharing my Mathmos Bubble , that's mine and mine alone.
Thinking about it, I may just be hyper from the amazing lack of sleep last night and the incredible possibility that I won't be sleeping tonight due to a small end of term work crisis. Perhaps if I spent less time messing around with leaked emails I might get some of the work done and be able to go to bed.

Well, despite swearing to myself that there was no possible way I could ever allow myself to spend £100 at Firebox on my current funds and that even if I could spare the cash I would never be able to find enough stuff on the site that I wanted to get I now sit with an order confirmation email in my inbox stating that a number of items (including a free starter pack) will soon be mine.
Yay!

I'm with you on this.

They will, no worries.
They brag that the gift pack isn't even for sale yet.
So, it will be; IIRC, they said January-ish.
(Meaning they'll be ready by Easter. )
Almost totally going to when it comes out alone; even if it's my only purchase ever for PXC, I'm ready to do it.

Woo, I recieved my starter pack. Unfortunately I'm at work at the moment so I won't have time to look through it properly until later!
The Viard album has a sticker on the shrinkwrap saying:

NOT FOR SALE
IN PERPLEX CITY
Great stuff!
