I also spent over £100 in another order to get that starter pack. i rang up Initial city link today and they said they dont pick up on saturdays so i should expect delivery tomorrow. Not sure why firebox gave me a tracking code on saturday though.
Edit: lots of typos

I whacked off an email to Perplex City to ask about the distribution, as to whether they were mixed in advance, or Firebox were mixing them, this was the response:
Quote:
Thanks for your email. We had always intended to sell wave 2 cards separately,
but our suppliers
were not able to provide us with waves 1 and 2 boxed separately. It is something
we are working to
rectify with the release of the next wave. For the time being, it is best for
you to take advantage of
Firebox's offer.
So it isn't firebox, and hopefully it won't happen with the next few waves!

(I originally asked how you tell the difference between phases): Thanks to Juxta and doublecross -- those lists are a great help (although "Spider and the Fly" in your wave 2 list is #153 not #152).
Getting slightly more on-topic, using the lists, the eight packs I got last week (the only ones so far) are split exactly in 3:1 ratio between Phase 2 and 1.

I just got my 5 for 4 packs from Firebox. They are all Wave 2* 'Yippee' but I seem to have been sent an absolute shed load of duplicates. Four of the packs have two sets that were almost exactly the same whilst the other had a couple inclded elsewhere. I know card distribution is supposed to be random but to buy 5 packs and to end up with duplicates of almost every card is a little frustrating...
Still, off to Perplexcitytrades we go...
*Of course that still means I have quite a few Wave 1 cards to get...

So far I've had 3 wave 2 and 2 wave 1 in my first set but I've got another 10 packs to open yet, can't wait.

Has anyone else had problems with the courier? My order was two days late - although firebox refunded the difference, it was disappointing not to be able to be the first solver, or amongst the first ten solvers, of any of the new cards (yes, OK, there are still some unsolved ones).

I've just received my two lots of the 5-for-4 offer too, and have updated my profile . I too got lots of duplicates, but I got one silver and a few blacks, so it's not too bad.
I've got quite a few wave 2 doubles to swap now, so if you're up for trading, drop me a line (e-mail on the trading site). I've successfully traded with 9 people so far, although profile on trading site doesn't reflect that as feedback got wiped recently (am also waiting on someone who's meant to be sending me a black card in return for the one I sent them - already a week gone so I'm a bit annoyed).

Ok, I got 9 wave 2 and 6 wave 1 (not ideal but I'm not too bothered) but what was more worrying was that I got 2 identical wave 1 AND 2 identical wave 2 packs AND also one other wave 1 pack had 3 cards in the exact same order at the back of my wave 1 pack (milo, whipsmart and ishihara(sp?) in that order). I thought they were meant to have sorted this but it seems not

In a selfless attempt to absorb some of the blow, I today recieved my order inculding 14 packs of cards (10 from offer, 4 from starter kit.)
The result? Well unless the 'limited pre-release wave 0.5' is written on all of them, it's 14-0 in favour of wave one.
Good thing I hadn't bought any so far then

Oh...
Then how do you know which wave you have? Because I have no idea which is which.

If you go back a page in this topic, Juxta posted list of all the cards in each wave.

Really though if you haven't bought any cards before it doesn't matter if you get all wave 1 or what combination because you will most likely be getting cards you don't have. Me, I now have 5 or some red cards.
