TELEPORT dreams Last night, I first heard about the TELEPORT system. It was some guy at a Swedish computer hardware rewieving site who had got a mysterious package containing the TELEPORT kit. He seemed to be quite confused about it, especially about the $60 Red Kore had paid for the FedEx international delivery.
Intrigued, I read more at the Red Kore site and found the forum section. Reading posts from you guys, I found out about unficition.com and the Cloudmakers. Both very cool names. Too interesting to miss.
After spending way too much time on-line trying to figure TELEPORT out, I was left alone in the middle of the night with an eerie feeling of unreality and excitement. It nearly turned into another night of insomnia. Time was streched out by the strain of my thoughts.
Finally, I sank into sleep and found myself in a labyrinth of logics. It was a full-world representation of the graphics present on the cards of TELEPORT. People like you were running around the maze, trying to find solutions to the "trips". Not finding a solution put you into a loop state of mind. You had to find the solution to be able to go to the next trip.
I do not know if this is of relevance to the solution of the TELEPORT mystery, but I remember three solutions to the puzzles in my dream. Read them for clues or enjoyment.
1. The hexgon shape was the solution of the first puzzle. Maybe it was three dimensional, maybe the magnets were used to stick cards together.
2. This puzzle couldn't be solved if thought about it logically. (What this means, I don't know. I'm just recalling my dream.)
3. The final (?) puzzle was to solved by faith. I remember walking across a half-invisible bridge which appeared because I believed in it.
The strangest thing about the dream is that I knew it was a metaphorical dream at the time, representation of my thoughts on TELEPORT.
Anyway, after solving the final puzzle I can enter a place. (Maybe this is the "transport"?) From nowhere, I'm at a beach. It looks very realistic, very sandy, very much like a beach in early spring. There's a rough wooden table at the beach with some note sheets stacked on top. I take the notes and feel watched. Behind me is the door from my garden which leads into the room I'm currently sleeping in. I go through the door and the beach vanishes. Someone is following me. I cannot see who it is and keep backing my way through the room until I stumble on a TV-set on the floor. The notes scatter across the floor as I drop them. "There has to be something wrong with my glasses, why is the shape in the doorway so blurry?" The panic grows and I drop out of the dream, waking up in the room I just left.
The eerie feeling lingered as I ate breakfast. Was this the first trip?

Yeah, I thought so too. I don't know if it is useful or just fascinating.

Cool! However, I do not think I can do it again.

Sure you can.
Just tell yourself to dream about the path and to wake up right after that dream (since you could very well dream that dream at 02:00 am)

awesome regardless of its "relevancy" it was a great post nonetheless... let me point out a few things I noticed very early in this whole thing that havent gone recognized really... one of RK's first posts was at http://www.memes.org Memetics... just read into it.
Also in an E-mail to Marc I jokingly mentioned the fact that I was starting to see the cards with my eyes shut... his response: funny, someone else said the EXACT same thing...
SPEC: These images are not simply clever little designs... they have been carefully chosen and arranged to prodcue a specific reaction... i.e. Memetics...

That's a very important point, brother.. sometning we'll have to look into. Regardless of the subjective nature or experience that you are supposed to go through, those cards mean SOMETHING.. the entire trip package means something.. maybe it's only meant to trigger something, a response in you, but it's all put together for a reason.
Now we all just have to find that reason for ourselves..

exactly exactly Nyght... from what I understand of the concept... memetics work because they strike a PERSONAL chord based on something fairly primal... so its not like subliminal messages, because its immediately personal its not a programmed response... just a powerful one.

What's interesting is that.. everytime i look at the cards, i get this feeling.. or something.. in the back of my head. Like there's some obvious connection that i'm missing.. as if my brain just won't make the connection but is aware that it's there somewhere. It's the strangest thing because I know this isn't necessarily a logic puzzle..
It's just that when i look at the cards and the package i feel like there's something there i should KNOW, but i just don't.. like i've forgotten. Very strange. Does anyone else have the same experience?

Me to. Not every time, and not very strong. However sometimes when I look at the cards I feel like I'm missing something obvious.

more than a feeling I get the same experience just looknig at the cards on the web... cant wait to see what they look like in real life. As far as memetics... I think thats exactly how theyre SUPPOSED to work... you know its SOMETHING but you cant quite put your finger on it.

I had this weird dream last night. I'm sure it had something to do with teleport to do, but i cant realy see the connection. Maybe its just a subconsious interpretation of what i think it is.. Anyway, heres what hapens:
i've been dreaming for a while when i become aware that im dreaming and am somewhat awake. I'm in a big big room, it looks like im outside but it feels like a big room, might be a beach (becase i read this thread yesterday it might have stuck in my head) and i am pressing a 12-digit number on some weird 3x4 panel (data_1 card!) and every number i press makes a little beep. Just when i finished the realy wicked stuff begin to happen, i become more aware of that im dreaming and the big room disapears and all i see now is this beautyful pattern made of curved lines, milions of them, and they are spinning clockwise. When i realize that i can controll the pattern my whole body (in real life, not the dream) get this buzzy fuzzy feeling and when i move my feet against each other it feels like electricity. I am now realy freaked out and make my self wake up, because it just feels like its to much.
After that i felt realy strange, and couldn't go to sleep again for two hours.
But now i hope i get the same dream tonight, it was so cool.
Also, just to let you know, i got the r1.trip yesterday so this was the first night that i had it. I had it in the "aroundtheneckthingie" and it was lying on a chair next to the bed.
