Post-event Social

I've booked the upstairs room of 'The Horse and Groom' for the Saturday evening for post event drinks. As it's a Saturday night they won't be busy anyway (no office workers) so we can spill downstairs so we should have room for about 200 people which I imagine will be everyone that wants to come. If we need more space there are many other decent pubs nearby-particulary the Champion (which was once described by a drunk friend like 'drinking inside a jewel). It's also very close to places for food as well.

It's about 3mins walk from Oxford Circus tube station (on the central/bakerloo/victoria Lines) which has direct tubes to Victoria, Euston, Kings Cross, Paddington, Liverpool Street, Charing Cross and Waterloo as well as being good for buses.

£1.97 a pint which should keep the Northerners quiet.

Here's a map

Good?

EDIT: for a linky linkster

I would change it to somewhere near Holborn/Chancery Lane but all the bars are closed on a weekend in the area so The Horse and Groom it is.

Three stops from the base camp away, should be fine.

May be up for this depending how tired I am... mind you I'm not sure in which way tiredness will affect my decision yet.

Well the land lady phoned me up to tell me she's ordered beer for 150 people.

Consider this thread well bumped.
