Let's see, now that I actually will be attending one, I'll revise my list.

Subway passes, pen, pencil, handmade Reference Guide, calculator, plenty of cab/food/soda/bribe/tchotchke money, good sneakers, binoculars, MP3 player, some spiffy duds, backpack, Unfiction indentity piece, and a cellphone.

And, in case something fishy goes down, I want to a NYC-board link open at all times; same goes for the London lot, but that's for a later date. Doesn't have to be me, I just want there to be a solid unity between ground and base. You never know when we may need it.

T-minus 38 days. No need for fuss, but we need to start thinking about it. Dunce

oh and a 1.5 litre bottle of irn bru

so if you want to spot me im the guy following his girlfriend like a lost puppy with a sock over each hand, sausage rolls in my gub, a rubber chicken in my belt and a biro up each nostril...

As for ID, I expect MC will have special PCAG leitmarks prepared for us, but just incase, we could always use the CUBE LOST leitmarks, as CRT ID is what they were made for!!!

lol hope you not gonna suggest rank too with that? I like the lietmark idea for id, although that wouldnt flush out any moles, cos if MC is paying them then they can easily get hold of them as well. Wonder if my best mate would join me, hes a bit more intelligent than me and I could do with the leaderboard points!!!

I think the best idea is custom name badges for everyone from Unfiction and their friends.

A) Not everyone has as leitmark yet
B) A mole could easily get ahold of a leitmark
C) Name badges make it easier to remember who's who

To make it even more effective, someone should bring a bunch of blank name badges with a completely different design for people NOT from Unfiction. These can be filled in at the event. This would quickly identify the people to be a little more suspicious of Smile

Also, for those who are members of Unfiction but forget to bring or misplace their badges someone could have a few spares handy. Before handing those out, the recipient can be vetted by the online team (e.g. "What's your user name" and "when was your last post" Smile )

Too paranoid? Yeah, probably...

We should do hats. I hear Mexican sombreros are all the rage in Sloane Square this winter. Wink

There is a Mr.Cooper here to see you, he'd like his chapeau back...

Hmm, well I'll be bringing all the usual but also:

Magnifying glass
Vinegar/Lemon juice
A small UV light if I can find one.
Some bird seed. (I hate pigeons... KEEP THEM AWAY!)
Mini first aid kit (I have a habit of injuring myself)
My lucky champagne cork
A disguise. (NONE of you lot will be photo tagging me no siree!)

Jo

This sounds like a bit of fun! Id prob bring cigs, wallet, phone, baseball bat, possibly crowbar to smash things open (I like what they did last time, lol), maybe some rope to tie up any 3P...but then if we tie him up we need a razor blade and some gasoline as well....
