For level six...
I end up in either:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The southern tip of Texas about 6 miles from Mexico
or
The northern part of Myanmar(Burma)

depending on whether a negative value is used in the longitude.
Am I wrong in going after a global position based on coordinates?

Just remember the hint in the source...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
ean13

i.e. it's a barcode, not co-ords.

I got the barcode value and was trying to develop a position based on the 12 digits obtained from it. (Not counting the last "check" digit).

ok.. just so we're clear on this (in case my last post wasn't obvious enough). You are NOT looking for a global position based on co-ordinates here. Find out what ean13 means, then figure out what the barcode is for.

Sadly I'm still on level 2. I have a question:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

By reordering the text I get what seems to be a message reading "Cut the Is" or "Cut the Es" or something similar. Is that similar to what we are supposed to get???

Yep, that's exactly what you're supposed to get. Now take a look at the URL. Wink
