My two cents:

Play however you'd like, TP. If you don't want to be in the group, don't; it's just as good a way to go about it. But please don't stir up nonsense here if you're going it alone. Havoc in a group environment is almost inevitable, but your addition to it was unnecessary. Best of luck to you, but try and be productive if you're going to say something here. For example, bragging about an e-mail we're missing from Wiki... good for you, don't rub it in our faces. We work on an inclusive principle, so being mocked by someone who doesn't isn't aggrivating, but unnecessarily annoying.

And, about Ryan: he can do whatever he pleases, but as a valued member of the Unfiction team, we were a bit disappointed in how we went ahead without a final verdict from all of us. But, nothing's come of it, and such little things are inevitable. It's a dead issue, regardless.

Good luck in your hunt for the Cube, but don't go throwing mud in ours, okie-dokie?

Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaat. Wink

(OOG: And some of us actually enjoy solving puzzles and immersing ourselves in the story. But, to each his own. Ta! If you're still even here...)

Travelling performer, can I please not be used as an example to prove a point, as though you know my opinion? I have said I was in the wrong to contact Kurt. I shouldn't have done it, and I said my appologies. People were fully within their rights to call me on it. The unforums are the largest collection of Perplex City participants, so a rash decision regarding the game on here should be criticised.

I can't honestly see a reason for you posting on here, other that to gloat that you have an email that we haven't received. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying you shouldn't be here. Just, if you are going to take the trouble to join, join in the community as well. No one in the world could possibly solve the whole thing alone!

Forg, please don't use the word 'trout' as an insult, it was never intended to be used that way. Trout is a term of respect meaning, in essence:

"I respect that you have your opinion, but this has been previously discussed and/or is not relevant at this time."

and should always be used in conjunction with a link to the original post mentioning the subject or an explanation of why it is not relevant at the time of being mentioned. (The emoticon Trout should generally be applied also, so that people can click it and read the post explaining what the trout means.)

And atrophied, you saying that every PPC player who doesnt use unfiction is "unco-ordinated", well that shows the arrogance and dictatorship of this place.

And as far from every not from unfiction being a minority, well i suggest you find out how many people play this game. Id say unfiction is around 1/4 of them.
</snip>

Maybe I should have clarified my statement somewhat in my original post. unFiction may not be the majority, but it is the largest group of co-ordinated players participating in Perplex City.
I was not trying to be arrogant, and I apologise if that's how my post came across. You yourself said that the email was unimportant, so I don't see how my dismissal of said email was arbitrarily dismissing anything found and not posted here.

Thankyou. Your right. I came off badly yesterday which really wasnt my intention, but reading back i didnt come across how i would have liked. And i wasnt bragging about the email i have, as i said its not important at all. In fact its a dead end. Sorry to have interrupted your conversation and good luck with the hunt. Smile

Is there any physical email to look at? Could we look at the email that was sent to you by any chance performer? Just to see which avenues are left open...Smile

well sheesh you come in angry, of course you will leave fFrustrated. Thank you fFor your time and comments, all the same. Naturally there will be people who actof their own accord in ARGs. that's how I played the beast and metacortechs, having not properly fFound the related communities yet. I have oodles of respect fFor the individual player: It's hard! REALLY hard! when you have a community to talk to, everything seems to gel and puzzles are easier, contests are clearer, information is more readily available. The individual player is an amazing thing, and you (everyone out there who is reading along and quietly not commenting) have my undying respect.
