Bungie has the video up so you don't need a 360 to see the it. Here's the link .

According to Joystiq In case you were looking for it, there's some hope:
Quote:
Over the speakers, some Halo 3 audio trailer continues. It's full of muddled voices, full of static, full of confusing references to Halo 3 plot elements that have not happened yet. There's Japanese, English, and Spanish mixed in. The background noise appears to have been recorded on a train platform. Hardcore Halo fanboys might be picking some clues up from this stuff, but we can't tell whether it's just a cute way to wrap things up or whether there's actually someone's embedded clues to kickstart the Halo 3 launch ARG (assuming there will be one).

I wonder if anyone recorded audio at the briefing.

The gamespot lo-res stream is now available. The lo-res download should (presumably) be available later today.
I'm going to try and capture the audio from the stream.

BLAST THEM!
The lo-fi stream cuts off right at the end of the trailer!

I'm digging the snippets of the Cortana Letters. Looks like they're not out of date like everyone else thought, after all

Going back and looking through them, it seems that Cortana has finally come around to being the entity that sent those letters. Same tone, so to speak. What are you thinking, bud?

I'm thinking... Record the audio, and play it backwards. Hidden messages, new ARG! Come on, Bungie! =D Please? Pretty please?

When Halo came out and Cortana wasn't the rampant, Durandalesque, poetry-spouting, insane fruitbat that the letters had predicted, everyone figured they'd just brushed aside the Cortana Letters and forgotten about them.
What's going on here? Cortana is nice. This isn't what we were expecting.
Now, Halo 3 rolls around. Cortana has been exposed to a planet-sized computer network and left to her own devices. Melissa has shown us that the rules of Rampancy apply to Halo AIs just as they do to Marathon AIs. And we see that, after all these years, the letters weren't brushed aside, and they weren't forgotten.
Well played, Bungie.

I have walked the edge of the Abyss.
I have governed the unwilling.
I have witnessed countless empires break before me.
I have seen the most courageous soldiers fall away in fear.
[I was there with the Angel at the tomb]
I have seen your future.
And I have learned.
There will be no more Sadness. No more Anger. No more Envy.
I HAVE WON.
Oh, and your poet Eliot had it all wrong:
THIS is the way the world ends.

So you're saying that the dialogue from the Halo 3 trailer is actually an excerpt from the Cortana Letters????????!!! OMG!!! This is giving me chills!!
Also, this new poetic style from Cortana seems similar to Gravemind... is Cortana now influenced by Gravemind?
EDIT: This seems to be the going agreement on Cortana's words from the trailer:
Quote:
"I have defied gods and demons.
I am your shield, I am your sword,
I know you, your past, your future,
This is the way the world ends."
