 		[QUESTION/DECISION] Inform Anne about VaporLofts
Hi all,

I have been thinking for a while that we should talk to Anne about all that we have found out about VaporLofts. The latest text message interaction is confirming my idea. I want to know what you guys think.

Down side: We might completely freak Anne out by telling her that we have been researching the company she works for, looking at the files in her personal directory, etc.
Up side: We may be able to convince her to do some digging and possibly get some traction on this as opposed to just sitting and waiting for yet another cipher, mp3, or other puzzle we don't really know how to solve.

I am more than willing to draft an email to Anne sumarizing everything we have discovered about VaporLofts. But I don't just want to go and do something rash without first consulting the rest of this collective detecitve.

What are your thoughts?

 		On the one hand, it seems from her latest entry, and her emailing Vapor again to ask them about the ghost, that she is wanting to know more.

But then she could also be wanting to take things at the pace we're going now.

Ooh....I say wait.

(and yes i know i've not been much use, first arg, i'm mostly sitting back and learning Very Happy)

Well, wait up. It might be naïve, but if Paris is trying to help Anne in any way, we don't want to blow his "cover", as it were. I'm a wait-and-see kind of guy, myself.

 		I agree. I will begin drafting a letter tonight. I won't send anything just yet. She may get freaked out (I know I would) but we have enough evidence now. She needs to get away from her apartment.

I don't think that's the case. I think this unknown agent is trying to help her. I think Paris is trying to get her into the portal.

Anyway, I'll just begin drafting a letter. We can wait and see another day or two before making any decisions.

Whoever is coming into New York, they'll be connecting to Atlanta in a few hours.

 		Here is the letter I propose that I send to Anne. At the moment I will not send it. But I really think this is the right thing to do. Meta thoughts below the letter:

The concept of meeting people on the internet is new to me, but I sincerely believe that these people genuinely care about you, which is not hard to believe since you seem like such an extraordinary person. Just keep that in mind. While I cannot truly speak for everyone, I sincerely believe your Internet friends (myself included) really care about you.

A couple months ago, when you began to post about Vapor - especially after posting the clip of the ghost in the tape they sent you - a few of us began to look deeper into Vapor. I apologize for this intrusion into your personal life. The things you wrote about: the GPS coordinates, the Sarah Belton mystery, the ghost in the tape - they were all very unsettling and we began to be very concerned for your safety.

We found some things hidden on Vapor's website. We had to decode encrypted messages and dig very deeply, but we made some discoveries that make it very clear that Vapor is not in the housing business. The "VaporLofts" business is a cover for their real business: Research, most likely into the paranormal. We discovered that "Mr Paris" is definitely and employee of Vapor as is/was Sarah Belton. We also discovered the reason they did not show you their primary facility in Atlanta and what is really going on there. We believe you are in danger, Anne. Vapor is not what they seem and they were responsible for what happened to Sarah Belton.

I know all of this may be difficult to accept, but trust me: we have proof. We have plenty of documents and details and can prove everything that I have been saying. I want to give you a chance to process this information and decide if you want to hear more. I promise you that I am not toying with you. Please, for your own safety, do not contact Vapor about anything in this email. If you choose to ignore it, that is your decision - but please do not start asking Vapor about anything I have been saying, especially "Mr. Paris" or Sarah Belton.

Please contact me at this email address if you wish to hear more. I am sorry for the anguish this letter may cause you. I wish I was wrong about all of this. But I believe that Vapor has plans for you in their research and that you cannot afford to ignore what we have found.

To maintain realism in the game, you can only go so far in avoiding communicating information. In other words, if I found out all this crap about anybody - even if I didn't know them - I would alert them. It was one thing to keep quiet when we were going on speculation, but we pretty much have proof that they intend to manipulate Anne into bonding with a spirit of the dead.

For anyone concerned that this may send the game into a bad direction, I asked rowan about this and she replied that if this is a direction the PMs do not wish to go, Anne could simply ignore my letter as psychotic ravings. I quite agree.

 		Yes, I think we/you should tell her what is going on.
I mean, it was tempting all the time and now that things become clearer it's the logical choice.
I'm still not sure if they want her or her sister. Perhaps they figured out somehow that her sister is more compatible to their project?

 		Still no response from Anne. Although she is replying to Mr. Paris on the comments in her latest post.

I'm thinking she might just be ignoring the email. Or she has n't figured out what to reply yet. Either way, not happy that she hasn't responded with anything yet.
