I can't find the email in the forums at the moment (maybe I forgot to post it Embarassed ) but in one of Stevie's emails to me she says that Earth's gravity is three times higher than what she feels on the station. Since Earth's gravity at the surface is 1.0g, Wasilei must have a gravity foracr of 0.3g

Interesting theory. Pericles is the one my gut.. just says is right, but I have nothing to back that up. No way are we certain enough to blue it yet I don't think. Maybe someone with regular contact with Stevie could have her find out.

Received email from Stevie and Raidar with a couple answers. See full post here.

#1 - D. Fossil Fuel (currently burn oil, working on solar. See email here)
#2 - B. 0.3g
#3 - A. Dr. Martha Crappert

#4 - C. Optical Disks (D is a possibility with all the new tech up there)
#5 - A. Athens
#6 - C. Miss Rose Mantling
#7 - D. Meta-physics
#8 - B. New Dawn
#9 - C. Carbon nano-fibres

#10 - ???
BONUS - ???


Stevie and Raidar will investigate #10 tomorrow. Raidar will also investigate #4 tomorrow.

I have an email out to Igor regarding the Bonus Question. I posed as a college student wishing to write an article about Bronco for our school newspaper (nothing to get a man to talk like a little ego stroking). I asked him some random questions along with the info we need to know. I'll obviously post here if I receive a reply.

Now THATS a good idea! I like that method of approachign Dr. Bronco. Simple, noninvasive, nonconfrotational.

When we get all the answers, I think we should explore some base conversions. Specifically, Base 40 as a target. That chalkboard text just looks an awful lot like a definition alphabet for base conversions, though usually, the numbers come before the letters.

Sounds like a good idea Rogi. Frankly, I was thinking just to go simple first... then do stuff like base 40. Simple as in why not just conver the numbers to their letter equivilants a=1, b=2, etc and oh.. line them em or something? The type of number we'd get seems like it'd fit the "bonus" question... and I, for one, feel strongly that the answer to the bonus question is our solve.

Of course.. I've been wrong before - stupid lower case 'e'

EDIT You know what? I'm just gonna add that to my signature...

Why is there a small E and the rest of the letters are capitals? Once again I'm not happy with the solution, because it is not following a unified logic...
I guess we should not take anything for granted, after all. Razz

Thats EXACTLY what I said to some one in chat.. I dont remember who. They said it looked like it could be lower case 'e' and I said "No.. see everythign else is capital.. why would they switch like that" and so the person never tried lower-case 'e' and we were stuck on the puzzle for liek.. 2 more days

I think we can exclude choice D from the possibilities for #10.
Per this page at nasa, The dimensions of Toutatis are:
(1.92, 2.29, 4.60) +/- 0.10 km

We have all 10 answers! See the latest email from Stevie. Note that the answer to #1 has changed.

#1 - C. Solar Energy (Stevie's email confirms that now most energy is solar.)
#2 - B. 0.3g

BONUS - ???

*#10: Raidar measured 4275m up to the Enviromental Dept, since Stevie was not allowed in there. If we take NASA's dimensions on Toutatis as true (thanks Rogi), then C is the answer by process of elimination.

So we have: CBACACDBCC

It is my suspicion that we can determine the Bonus answer by using the answers to the other 10 questions. I further conjecture that the Bonus answer is either the solve itself, or can be used with the chalkboard image to determine the solve.

We are getting closer!

tried a base 4 to base 40 conversion using the tool at the bottom of this page.
It came back with "joi0".
Tried that and "join" to no avail. Could be a bad answer on the quiz or just me barking up the wrong nanotube, again.

It very well could be irrelevant. However, I don't want to count it out. So any potential solution I come up with I will first try directly emailing (bypassing the image) and if that does not work, I will try using it with the image somehow. But that's just me.

Alright I've tried a couple thigns so far.. straight letter to number conversion gives

3213134233

So I've tried 3213134233SPLATmaefamily.info, 3213134233bSPLATmaefamily.info, 3213134233bitesSPLATmaefamily.info, 321MBSPLATmaefamily.ingo

No joy

I tried adding the numbers but 25SPLATmaefamily.infor and ySPLATmaefamily.info yeild no fruit.

IN a fit of inspiration I tried calling 321-313-4233 and 210-202-31222 (base 4 conversion) but neither was anything.

Nothing there sounds helpful

Still not sure if it means anything but if you take the Character that only appears once you get MU16 if that might matter
