[Xbox 360] 360 Finder Program

I know a lot of you are still trying to find a Xbox 360 and a lot of my friends were in the same boat. I had one of my empolyees write a program that will notify you if a 360 is for sale on a website. It works very well with Circuit City web site (which is the exact site it was designed for) but it should work with any web page that sells 360s. Attached is the program (pwninator.exe)

Key information you will need:
Address: Put in the URL of the web page that has 360's for sale. (Ex. CC: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/genericContent.do?oid=136791 )
E-mail: Put in your e-mail address or the e-mail address of those who wish to be notifyed (ex: JohnDoeSPLATgmail.com) You will receive an e-mail from "Changenotification" @ Gmail.com.
Match: Put in the name of the image file that you are looking for. (For instance on CC's web page you would search for the Sold_out.gif. When they have 360's in stock the Sold_out.gifs are changed to "Add to Cart" Gifs.)
Occurances: The number of times that the "Match" will occur in the page. (For CC's Web page there are 3 occurnaces of the Sold_out.gif.)
Interval: (the amount of time between when the program checks the source code). I suggest 300 seconds. (5 minutes)

ENJOY and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

EDIT: I forgot to mention that you also have to install MS .NET framework version 2 for the application to work. It gives an error if you don't install the .Net Framework.

It's cool that you put that program together but there's a web site that does this for you and lists a bunch of diffrent retailers.

He means it's a shame it came to there being so few 360s available in stores and whatnot.

When I ordered mine from circuitcity.com 2 weeks ago, they sold out of their whole online alottment in 10 minutes.

The bigger shame is that preorders made at GameStop stores as far back as May are going UNFILLED while GameStop.com somehow keeps getting more 360s in to sell in their $1000+ bundles.

They already have the money from preorders, so they are letting those wait while boosting quarterly profits by selling more online in rediculous bundles.

Yes, a shame to say the least. Fraud, one might even say.

I wouldn't go as far as fraud. For it to be fraudulant, someone would have actually had to break the law and lied.
right now, like it or not, it's out of the retailer's hands.

Not that I care, I only really wanted one with the initial launch rush. Now I probably won't get one until the summer, just because with 18 credit hours and a job, I'd probably spend 400 dollars on something I'd get the chance to use once a month.

See, I believe what they are saying is that it is not out of the retailer's hands at all. that the consoles on pre-order are being diverted to bungle sales to increase the profit margin of each sale. Since they make the packages and MS just shifts consoles, it's not an unreasonable assumption.
