yes, madam o'brien is right, Scarlett can judge her own situation better than any of us, and if she thought she was in enough danger, she would have keyed Sente or whoever herself. And she still has it rigged to call Sente with a push of a button. I think we should trust her judgement.

Quick question - is Scarlett using a separate keymail address for her covert work, and if so, what is it?

Also, in case anyone wants to send a "message from the gang" email, I've got one worked up:

Quote:
L-

Hey, is everything all right? You were supposed to meet us for drinks a couple hours ago - hope you're okay.

If I don't hear from you in a bit, I'll ask the Major to drop in and see how you're doing - I know you weren't feeling too good a couple days back, and I really hope it's not blown up into something serious (remember that time with the TB? That was a panic attack and a half, let me tell you!).

Stay sharp, Red, and I hope to hear from you soon!

- (name) & the gang

Just read this again, and...

...Maybe not great things to be writing in a message being transmitted from within the compound, especially if you don't want the people running the place to find out who you are and what you're doing. If they have the technology to set up a confusion field around the perimeter of the compound, they are probably also capable of monitoring key signals from within and around it too.

Evidently they'd known I was coming.

Really, I wonder how? Oh, by monitoring signals from your key, that's how!

It may even be the reason they locked her in an office - hoping she would send a message to someone so they could find out who she was.

Let's hope that key trickery to contact Sente works... it will probably be the only thing to save her, since by now they probably know all about who she is and what she's up to.

I thought about this, but i figured since she said it was only viewable from earth, they wouldnt read it once it was sent, and she (hopefully!) would only send a message if she knew it was safe. Mind you, she doesn't really have a grasp on safe situations does she? Confused

On the other hand, The sentinel has shut down it's external edition for the time being which you can basically read as an OOG meaning of even Mind Candy will be getting a well deserved Christmas break!!

Wouldn't be too surprised if we didn't hear anything until the middle of next week as Monday and Tuesday are national holidays in the UK and so MC will probably be closed for business.

llo,

Thanks for your email to Perplex City Customer Service.

We're closed for the Christmas and New Year break until Tuesday 3 January 2006,
but rest assured that we'll be answering your questions, queries and complaints
(though we hope there won't be many of the latter!) as soon as we get back.

Have a good Christmas, Hanukkah, Festivus, Winterval, holiday and New Year's
break!
