Clues:

-If you wish to pass beyond this door, make Three and Three the cube of 4.

-My advice? Meaningless, perhaps. Where are you now?

-The answer is there, in between the echoes.

Thoughts:

-the cube of 4 - The q before or 64

-in between the echoes - put "in" between the echoes (Three)?

-make three and three - make the re in three

Thats all the damage I can do as of now. Just some more things to ponder I spose Confused

Do we know what the word "panicht" means? That's been bugging me from the beginning, and I wonder if there's something there that might help us.

Its 2 words bled into one. Panic and nicht. Nicht means "not" in German

Okay this is really stretching and a coincidence I'm sure....but thought I'd post it in case it jars a possible decryption method in someone else's noggin.

Three and Three

Numerically:

20 8 18 5 5 1 14 4 20 8 18 5 5

In dec. this length is interesting...

81 85 51

QU3

Again just coincidence, cuz the rest is garbagey....

I stink at decryption, can you add the garbage to it for me? It might not be as much garbage as you think.

Kind of a stretch, if you ask me. Say "panicht" aloud--"Panicked".

Based on what you said before about the Japanese being clever puns, I'll say this one is too. Maybe "Not panicked?"

After checking http://www.systranbox.com/systran/box, "nicht" is also means the following:

Dutch - cousin

But that's REALLY stretching it.

Well if you put it in the two-three digit order form needed to convert to that QU3:

(Using this)

20 81 85 51 144 20 8 18 55

You'd end up with:

DC4(Device Control 4) Q U 3 È DC4 BS(backspace) DC2 7

There's a couple of different ways (i.e. 20 81 85 51 14 42 08 18 55, or 20 81 85 51 14 42 08 185 5) - none of it makes any sense really, I just thought it might jog something in someone else...a different way of looking at the problem perhaps.

Alternatively, maybe try converting the word Three into hex or sumpin and see if those numbers mesh with 64? (Don't forget the capital T)

Maybe take the 3 and 3.....and mirror the first one....put them together and it's an 8.....8 squared is 4 cubed.....Gah! I'm losing my mind.

I think it's wordplay.....Panicked and Panic Not

OK, I was trying to hold this off for a bit to see if I could finish it correctly b/c I seemed to be on a roll, but I'm not getting something properly, so let's put our brains together.

I will use spoilers in case you dont want to know what my theory is.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
This is only a theory, but I feel like it is the right direction and I feel like I got close. I will have references for everything I can find, some stuff I searched for and couldnt find for some reason Confused

We are looking for an e-mail address, Keeper of Things e-mail to be exact. This is referenced

If and when you and your friends are ready, I will lead you astray to where the end begins. There you must contact the Keeper of Things; he is one of the very few who may freely traverse the Realms of Qu13e. When you have located him, give him Clockstop's message - and then give him something that he does not have.
If he is pleased, he just may secret you inside.

This means panicht is where we contact the Keeper of Things. He should be the one that lets us in if we follow the directions given to us by Qu13en above.

Now as to how I came up with my theory for what the e-mail address will contain. I remember a statement in the past from Qu13en where she said they all had a number, hers is 9. This would mean there should be a number in the front portion of the e-mail address. Here is how I read and worked the clues.

Quote:
The answer is there, in between the echoes.
[Q9t]

- Echoes are "Three"
- in between the echoes - Place the word in between the echoes, making it "three in three" instead.

Now we have wordplay.
*Three in Three - the "re" in Three, so the line reads as such: make the "re" in Three the cube of 4.

The cube of 4 is 64, so we keep substituting: make the "re" in Three 64.

Now we take action - Th64e. Granted finding the word alone means nothing, but in the context of all things brought together it can make some sense. It is still incomplete.

The next portion comes from the words in the pictures, LOST AND FOUND & OUT OF ORDER.

Lost and Found is a place to keep "things that are lost, waiting to be found" - seems to tie into the logic fairly well.
Out of Order is where I lose my focus on what it is, how it correlates, and I think this is the key to it for my theory.

I know for a fact that Th64eKeeperOfThingsSPLATqu13e.com doesnt work. This also isnt a plea for everyone to randomly try and guess an e-mail address, I'm hoping we can actually solve this with some concentration and thought provoking posts. I think we have to figure out what he is keeping, which is where I think the Out of Order comes into play. Like I said, this is just a theory, but I have a strong feeling it is at LEAST in the right direction.

That's very ingenous, very good methodical thoughts/explanation. Much better than where I was today with it...lol

I just wonder why the clue wouldn't have said "If you wish to pass beyond this door, make Three in Three the cube of four"? Where "and" implies addition, "in" could also imply division.....

It would have been just as perplexing that way no?

I guess the question then is...was it not meant to be solved without that email? I dunno.... Dunno

To cplete the streching:
Pa nicht would translate to: Dad cousin (or niece)

(did you know (darth) Vader is dutch for father? They knew!) Wink

Oddly enough, I think that is where the clue from Qu13en that says "Qu13e was-and-is meant to be puzzles within puzzles, within puzzles". Its a layering process. As for why it is done how it is, I think its simply to make it hard, which doesnt bother me. If we had more people working on the game it wouldnt seem so bad, but we are just short on players. We are having to work harder, but we will figure it all out.

I like what you've got going so far Glecius.

What if we take the statements "2+10=10+2=Double Vision, look the other way" and then "Out of Order" together? Maybe we have to reorder either the whole name, or maybe just the number?

Here's one other thing I just thought of - it looks like the 13 in qu13e can be taken as a B, so maybe we should try substituting either the 4 or the 64 for letters (A or bA??), or maybe change some of the letters we have into numbers?

And have we tried to email theKeeperofThingsSPLATqu13e.com just to see if it works?

With the double vision, I did try to reverse the clues to see if they offered any different insight, but couldnt make use of it (that doesnt mean it isnt right, simply means I couldnt make sense of it). I didnt use the e-mail address you listed due to the fact it was too simple, but maybe simplicity is the key. I'll leave that to you since you had the thought.

I'm not convinced of the 13 = B thing, so I've not made any use of the concept. If someone else finds out that it is indeed pertinent, kudos to them. I'm just not personally seeing anything leading in that direction yet.
