Trout Icon -- Way to include a link?

I trouted someone a while back, and was surprised to find a PM in my inbox today thanking me for posting the link to the definition of trout when I did so.

I know it's been discussed a number of times in the META thread, but I'll admit I've forgotten to link to the definition before, and judging by the fact that many people still seem to view it as something of a flame, I wonder if it's possible to make up something for trout akin to the code BriEnigma came up with for the Search icon? Something that would include both the word "trout" and the icon, perhaps, with the word "trout" linked to its definition, so that any time someone used the icon, it would automatically provide a way to find out easily what it meant, rather than just having to go by context or count on the trouter to explain?

Just a thought.

Phaedra: it automatically links anyway see:

Trout (<-click it for linky goodness)

However, seeing as it's been brought up again ... I would like to reiterate my suggestion made here. Could we have something that makes it look like a link? A subtle sign that says 'click me' or something?

ETA: Omigosh... I just realised that I knew something about uF that Phae didn't Shocked

And my world crumbles...

She's been here so long and posted so much, that she is well beyond Entrenched or any other description of the type of member she is....

/me wonders what she has to do to get her own special description.

It's not really a special description, I think...just what happens when you get to 2500 posts. I got the impression they actually created it long before I arrived on the scene.

Well, I did get the impression that they slipped the "I have no life" title in there just as I was about to hit 2000... Embarassed

Seriously, my posting rate has slowed way down since I started hanging out in IRC. It has. Honest.
