[interaction] Email from Seth 12/ 19 about the puzzle trail

I emailed Seth saying that the puzzle trail didn't make sense to me. His response:

Interesting that you would see things that way. I guess you have to look at the unique situation Steven was in and know a little bit of our history. I guess I owe all of you at least that much information.

Steven came to me right before he left to go live on the station and asked for my help. He couldn't tell me much, except that he was going to live on a privately-owned space station. He said I had to keep silent about its existence and that he would call for me when he was ready. He only told me that the man who owned this space station, Igor Bronco, had done horrible things to him and others in order to be a success. His plan was to expose him.

He's been up here on this station, Bronco's station, without any safe way to communicate with the outside world since then. Up until November, Bronco had a strict gag order in place concerning the station, so all communication with people on Earth (which was allowed only in certain specific situations) was strictly monitored.

Luckily, we prepared for that scenario. Steven said he would contact me by sneaking secret messages in the promotional material sent out by Orbicon. Orbicon Corporation has many divisions, some of which aren't secret at all, and routinely sends out mailings to its contributors. I was put on the list and was to watch for his messages. I received 17 seperate mailings from Orbicon, 9 of them had something from Steven in them. The last few messages told me the details I needed to prepare for my trip. Then finally after the space station was revealed in mid-November Steven was able to contact me and invite me for a "visit" on the space station. The plan was for me to meet with Steven and go over the evidence he had gathered. Supposedly, he had enough to take down Bronco. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any of this evidence.

That is why I only have two investigational options right now - find Steven and complete the puzzle trail he left me. I do believe that the trail was left by Steven for three main reasons -

1) It is housed on his family's website,
2) the trail's start was a letter signed by Steven himself which was sent to me,
3) and we have a history of communicating using puzzles as the encryption method.

One of the things I'll admit I don't know is Steven's reasons for creating this trail. That, I guess, is something we'll find out at the end.

Seth

And that's what rose asked, precisely. That means, Seth doesn't have a clue. Rolling Eyes
