I'm pleased we got a post all of our own on ARGN, now we might actually reach that 1000 person sign-up by the 26th for extra PDA features!

Tidbits gleaned from Convos with James

So, this evening while we were chatting with James, he and I were in PM. Among the things we discussed were that he *is* getting paid, though it is appearing in his bank account, and he is concerned about tracing the payments, since he does not want to scare the person off and lose the money that is paying for him to investigate the case.

Also, on a personal level, he is a very friendly and open person who really appreciates people taking the time to get to know him and help him on the case. Smile He says he and Sarah are both surprised and pleased by the response to his asking for help.

Dunno if any of this is important to share, but there it is. Smile

Its all useful to some extent, been wondering about some of the stuff you mentioned. He seemed a little preoccupied in chat, hopefully that explains it, but if you hear from Sarah before she makes herself known again to the group personally, could you post about it here please? I'm a little worried still.
I'm off to chase what is in all probability a dead end today at Dr. Johnsons house, and what to most people would be a nice day out at a tourist trap, is feeling a little troubling on account of how much effort people are going to, to point out I could be putting myself in harms way.

Hopefully the email to emma will throw up a more promising set of leads.

You know.. so far the dialouge in OUR interactions with the characters has been great..

but that transcript.. ugh.... its so.. awkward. It doesnt have any conversational flow....

He did mention that the conversation took place whilst the manager had to take care of other customers. Smile

As for now, I suppose we'll just have to wait and see about the grave and house visits.

Yep, I will certainly post any info that I get from any of the characters. Smile The reason I posted this here instead of on the in-game board is that James has asked me not to tell people some of the stuff that we talked about, lmbo. Since he does not 'know' about here, I figure it is ok to share here. And I hope that it is expected that I spill the beans, even if it is in confidence.

I just realized that no one has mentioned James's possiblely giving us his phone number to use. He said he would hide it on the website and make it difficult to get, so that only those people who truly want it will have access to it. In his words, he does not 'want to waste time talking on the phone with silly people.'

So, hopefully we will get that puzzle soon.

yay somewhere new to lurk on. ^_^

It'll be interesting to have James' phone number, though that seems to be pushing the nature of the ARG a bit more... To be able to call someone. My guess is he'll only have it on at certain times.

I would guess he has a voicemail setup and if we call we would generally be speaking to voicemail, unless it is a scheduled call.

no chance he could be the suspicious 'Mike'?? we have a phone number.

His number may also be related to the numbers on the photos from the station.

Who knows... (apart from JP)

From the way he was talking, he will *soon* give us a way to get his number, not that he already had. He asked if I thought making it a test was silly and what my opinion of his guarding the information was. I did not get the impression that we have access to the info yet.

Well the trip to Dr. Johnsons house had mixed results.
It was closed due to a staff shortage (put my cv in the letterbox as I was on a job hunt that day anyway Smile ), but I still managed to get some interesting pictures, the locals weren't too cooperative in so far as they didn't like my snooping till I got a bit art studenty and took a few white balance shots with my digital camera and a bit of paper Rolling Eyes .
Had a chat with a cleaner from the office block that backs onto the same alley as the House, he hadn't seen anything but told me the entrance i came through had been blocked off recently. This gave me something to look for, seems that there had been a light faiure so they had closed off the alleyway, (not common to do that where I live but it is central london so who knows?), wierd thing is the CCTV system that had been watching me had cameras trained on the lights and the wires that I assume had once been lights, and there were a couple of secuity blokes that came out to ask me what I was up to when I was just taking pictures in view of the cameras.
Found some familiar graffiti, a decorated statue, some suspicious trash, and pieces of torn pages scattered around the square and alleyways.

Edited to add Westminster Station is the place to go if you want to experience the scene from the matrix where there neo gets distracted by the woman in the red dress, so many sharp suits running into each other, they look like they all should be extras in "Spooks" (I think its called Mi-5 in the US)

FYI, James is online MSN right now (2:57 PM MST, Jan 26th), unfortunately I've just been a lurkin' (and not lately either) so I'm not exactly the best person to be talking to him. Just thought I'd let you all know in case there is something you need from him, here's your opportunity.

According to his subname, he just got back today.
