[FA] [NEW] James phone number- SOLVED The sound file that he posted I ran through an audio program I have and worked it out like such:
Spoilered for those that wish not to see.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Take the number of clicks between each beep, counting each section as a number. They come out as 10-7-8-7-4-10-3-6-9-2-8. Not being from the UK and not familiar with the way phone numbers are written, I contacted a friend that helpe me work it into a number, 07874036928. I was told that all UK cell numbers begin with 0 and it would make sense for it to be a cell number, however I'm not calling international to find out if it is correct.

Out of curiousity, what is the program you ran it through?

Well I've got through to him. I'm not going to put the actual number here because I feel like i'd be betraying JP, all I can say is... Count again....

I used Wave Pad. I guess I got it from Google, but this is the link.

ran it through both and get the same answers,
i get two different numbers depending if i go mono or stero, the mono one will give a different fifth number if i go by sight, but not if i listen to the noises.
EDIT- figured it i think, but the two numbers I got are apples and oranges as far as difference.

Audicity seems to be out of my ability to use. I just ended up converting the file to a .WAV and listening to it with Sound Recorder at a significantly lower speed.
Haven't tried the number yet.

I have been looking at the file. Our method is correct but I am having trouble with two digits which are unclear.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
My result: 0_97_036928
Where underscores represent the unclear digits.
The good news is this only leaves us 100 possibilities
If we make the assumption that it is a mobile (cell) phone number then it would begin 07.
There are broadly speaking four mobile network operators in the UK. Any number beginning 0797... is registered with the Orange network and hence is valid. It just remains to decipher the 5th digit
EDIT: The correct number is:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
07974036928
It goes straight to voicemail saying:
"This is James Pearson. Please leave a message and I'll get back to you"
James has a strong American accent!
(Note: this is a UK number. From abroad it would be +447974036928)
