[UPDATE] Seth's Journal 12/28/05

Seth has begun updating his journal.. I suspect we'll see mote entries tonight but so far..

Recent Events
So much has happened the past few days. I'm not sure where to start. I'm guessing many of you on Earth have already heard about these events from Stevie, but I'll start at the beginning anyway...

Last week, a man broke into Stevie's room in the middle of the night. Luckily, Raidar recorded the event so with the help of the security team I was able to quickly identify the culprit. The man's name is Arthur Rasmussen. It didn't take long for security to apprehend him, but unfortunately once he was in custody he didn't want to talk. It didn't take long for me to convince the head of security to let me interview Rasmussen. I had done a quick background check on him and everything came back clean so I didn't have any past "personal indiscretions" to use against him, but I still thought I could find a way to get through to him. Just when I thought he was going to break, he collapsed. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary for an interrogation. I stayed strictly within the acceptable interrogation guidelines because I didn't want to cause myself any trouble. I knew that Orbicops would rush in if they saw me step over the line on the surveillance feed. I called in the medics right away and they rushed Rasmussen to the medical lab. Turns out he is now in a coma and Cordelia can't get him out of it. And it looks like I won't be getting any information out of him until she does.

I wasn't sure what Rasmussen was doing in Stevie's room so her and I reviewed the tape and recreated the event in her room. Don't worry, I didn't upset her. I talked with Cordelia and Stevie about it beforehand and Stevie said she wanted to do it if it would help find Steven. I am fairly certain that Rasmussen was after Raidar, not Stevie. What I don't know is why he would want Raidar and whether or not his actions are connected in any way to Steven's disappearance.

And I hate to be a scrooge, but I'm glad that Christmas is over. I tried my hardest to console Stevie and Cordelia on Christmas day, but I don't know how much it helped, especially with Bronco there. The man just doesn't know how to act with even the slightest bit of compassion. Cordelia, Davina and I were trying our hardest to keep Stevie's mind off of Steven and he kept bringing him up over and over again. I finally had to pull him aside and discuss the case with him. I even pulled out the fake progress report the earth investigators made and gave it to him. He seemed pleased with what it said, but it sure didn't make him leave the Christmas party. I wish I had given it to him earlier. Maybe he wouldn't have felt the need to come to the party at all. It was quite obvious he wasn't there to celebrate the holiday. His eagerness makes me wonder if he was behind the break in. Could he be so eager for information about my investigation that he'd resort to scaring Stevie?
