What the hell is it, anyway?

A post in the LJ community Occult entirely in binary which, when decoded, was in very bad 1337speak, which was then decoded to portugese, which was then decoded to something about informing us of... something or other, lead us to this journal.

Which seems to us like an ARG trailhead on acid, but intriguing nonetheless.

We thought it might be connected to an ARG already in progress, but a search found nothing.

Perhaps someone could look further into it and see what this is all about.

Yea I noticed the hidden text. Every time I read it it makes me think of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. LOL

Good luck with the translations, online translators came up with Zero for me.

I just noticed the strange links (|3@\/3 @ (0|\/||\/|3|\|+, 13 (0|\/||\/|3|\|+$

Since I am now friends with whoever this is, they are in regular contact with me and would like y'all to know that they're watching our progress. They have left you messages - particularly you, Ubergeek, and you Shadom.

Also, since I've had discussions with this person as if they were a real person (honestly - I spoke to them about religion, we made fun of Llewellyn, I learned they are biased against Halo and Microsoft because they were raised by Mac parents, etc...), I'm having a hard time deciding what exactly is going on here.

I've also had a number of my friends' entries appear in binary or code recently.
