PUZZLES: birthday trail

it's been a few months since the last Birthday trail....

A week ago monday, I was surprised to find the following message on my work pager:
Quote:

Subject: hmmmmmm.
http://deaddrop.us/sapagoo/

Shocked
At that, is the "rabbit hole" to my birthday trail.

Feel free to play along. I've finally finished (took me 9 days). And I will surreptitiously post my notes and comments soon. Probably a link with spoilers.

Thanks to everyone who helped!

Definitions used:
Rabbit hole (also known as an Eyepoke)-
The initial site, page, or clue that brings someone into the game.

Birthday trail -
A string of puzzles (like an ARG with little plot) strung together for someone's birthday. Be prepared for inside jokes Smile

ok so the alt for the image on the first page is "Life is a many colored tapestry. All you need is the right pallette" pallette? Isn't that spelled wrong? Or do they mean this pallette...

Quote:
pallette

n : one of the rounded plates at the armpits of a suit of armor

Birthday Trail: SPOILERS

As I solved the trail, and got hints along the way, I took copious notes.

I've uploaded the trail here, filled with spoilers.

Well done, Sap

Thanks for posting your notes. I got worn out just readiing Mart's puzzle. (Let's face it, the man is just evil.) Your stamina amazes me. Glad you had fun.

Heh, it was fun....er, painful watching him squirm through it all.

By the way, if you want to see pictures of the final cluesite:

I liked the new rule Space came up with: Next time somebody has a birthday, we're going to make Mart go through a birthday trail.
