[Email] Jan 5th - 44th Song of Gaia

Somehow, this doesn't speak to me like Leon thought it should. He must be from Texas.

Quote:
After reading your heartfelt plea I was drawn immediately to the
following passage from the 44th Song of Gaia.

---------------------------------------------------------------

The Mighty Oak – An extract from the 44th Song of Gaia.

It came to pass that after the expulsion from Eden of the Land there
stood within the Forest a mighty oak tree that had grown there since the
beginning of time. All of Gaia would seek shelter in her branches and
she would act as a comfort to all who came to her. And yet as the years
passed the mighty oak became weary of Gaia's song, seeking instead a
song of her own. Gaia, knowing only compassion sang unto the great oak.

I knew you when in young in leaf you grew tall and strong.
I know you now when burdened with your labours you grow weary.
As Gaia I sing comfort and release you from your toil.
Sing no more within my song, sing a fresh a song of youth.

And Gaia released the might oak from her burden and remade her as she
was in her youth and Gaia sang.

No longer will I place a burden upon the mighty oak.
All of Eden shall share alike in the Songs of Gaia.
Know peace now mighty oak until the song of Gaia
and the song of the mighty oak sing in harmony once more.

And Gaia was sustained.

---------------------------------------------------------------

I hope you can find a Gaia of your own where you can find peace.

Until next time

Leon

Does anyone understand this? I understand why "the mighty oak became weary of Gaia's song " Just reading this made me weary. Is it wrong to want to make it so Gaia can never ever sing again? Wink

It would be humorous if there was some sort of code hidden in this text. A new idea in cryptography - make the text so boring no one could possibly suspect a thing.

Sounds like an allegory for someone bored of their job.

I doubt his Texanness. What did you ask, Rowan?
