Just noticed something kinda odd on the 'who's here' list in the forum. It has, of course, several members with underlined and linked names, and then one that wasn't. Google.com? Is this common forum behavior or just a hint for the arg newbies the google the hell out of stuff?

Well, wouldn't that be a part being a PM? Controlled release of information?

But a PM knows the entire story (as much as you can in an ARG). Tucker, being a character, is just a clueless as we are about who Ben Stove is. If anything, it can almost be considered that Tucker is our puppet. Now that he is in contact with all of us, you should start to notice that he won't really do much without being told. Sure, he'll go to work and update his site, but I'll bet a cookie that most of the big revelations that happen will be because one of us suggested something to get the ball rolling.

Count me in. I never did get to play AotH as it seemed to be too much to catch up on when I noticed it, but it'll be nice to see what these PM's can do first hand

I really hope to try and keep up with this game. I am very excited about an ARG with an Iowa connection since I am in Iowa. Maybe I will actually get to do some fun and exciting real life sleuthing.
Since I am not sure how well I will be able to keep up, if you do need someone to do something here in Iowa, you might want to message me and let me know, just in case I miss it here. (BTW, I am registered on the in-game board as aragon95..the name I wish I would have gone for on here instead of my real name!).

Guess my timing for checking in on the boards was good. I'll be following along myself, though my work schedule may prohibit me from following everything in my usual detail.

Okay I have been gone a while, but this looks like the perfect time to jump back in. Maybe a milk bottle campagin for Benjamin Stove 47 from Iowa would work.

I was checking up on the blogs I read daily and happened to notice that on nearly all of them there was a link to the WIBS blog. Looks like this is ramping up quickly.

I think I'm going to keep myself to the UF board mostly, those boards give me a freaking headache, too many un-informed people, most of whom deserve a slap. ( )

I'm just hoping that he's not as consistently long-winded in his blog entries. Information is good, and real-world asides are fun, but that bordered on needing FDA approval as a sedative.

Hmm... looks interesting, and if it is an ARG (which I'm betting it is) it seems like a good, original formula. Hopefully he doesn't get kidnapped by an ultraglobal organization.

But now I feel bad for all the other little games in News & Rumors that are going on 12 pages while we have 2. It's kinda like watching a younger sibling get married and have kids while you're still without a signifigant other.
And now, now audioslave, we mustn't slap the new people (especially after that one post where that one guy said he didnt want hardcore ARGers to play because then he couldnt play). We just need to educate them a bit more, is all. (But if you want to make a voodoo doll and beat it to death in the privacy of your own home, well, I can't stop you now can I? ) We just need to spend a little more time trying to nudge them into more productive channels of thought. With any luck, we can get them to at least stop talking about the game as a game overthere, and maybe get some of the threads back on topic.

I think the post by Grahukantar on the WIBS forum was meant to try to snap it back into unreality by opening up the 'conspiracy' mindset.
