I was gonna guess "Time After Time" (1979) with Malcolm McDowell. It feels a tad unfair to use movies so recently released that some of us haven't seen them yet, but that's just me whining (if indeed the answer is "Pan's Labyrinth")

It is indeed Pan's Labyrinth. Sorry Catherwood, but I tend to use movies that I recently see (on DVD or otherwise)... but just for you, I promise my next one will be an oldie. Wink
