None of those. This wasn't really a swamp movie per se. While the setting was important, the type of terrain was not.

Nope.

A hint: most of this movie takes place in a cabin. There's also a fantastic scene featuring creamed corn, although in the effect, it was green.

I thought it looked like that kid Bryce from the Max Headroom TV series, just a bit, but didn't find any good matches. My gut tells me that I've seen this one, and it is perhaps a dark theme? not quite horror? The aviator frames should narrow down the decade...
