I didn't really remember those shots, but then I do remember the strangest bits of detail about The Player(damn cinema students).

Okay, here's my new movie which I'm sure I'll be depressed about when someone guesses in it in 30 seconds because they have developed some weird database about multicolored mass transportation in movies.

<bump>Hint and new still:

This is somewhat of an older movie. It did spawn a sequel several years later, which takes place more or less in real time (unlike in the first movie). And neither movie takes place in the US.
