Actually, I think catherwood's right and Puppy's just being mean. Wink
Unless I miss my guess, that's Barbara Stanwyck, in Sorry, Wrong Number in the 2nd shot. Which means the clips must be from Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid.

you know, when i googled the text on the first image, i got a hit on DMDWP as well. I thought it would be cheating to guess both. Mostly I wanted to point out that there was no guess and less than 24 hours between the posting of the two clues, which made me feel like this round was being rushed. I didn't take the 2nd clue into account, and was only guessing on info from the first. So, I yield the win to Rogi -- unless he's not ready, in which case I'll have something on Friday night (the stills are on my other computer).

If that's it, catherwood, go ahead and post.
I've got movies; But, I haven't done any caps for them.
* Rogi Ocnorb * makes a note to go out and get DMDWP as a 2nd viewing is long overdue.

Crying or Very sad * Puppy* nods. That cryptic text was indeed about that text and Barbara being from those movies but the shots weren't. Very Happy

*I did not expect this to take long, but as far as I know there was close to 24 hours between posting the shots. The first got a bit obscured because I edited it in my answer post.

Is this cryptic talk for "This is actually a clue."? As this is Unfiction I can not assume this is mere coincidence so.....
So clue wise we are talking; Friday night late movie about computers. I will just hazard a guess then at a bit more modern computer horror :

Out of fairness, I'll pass on actually guessing this one; But, If IMDB's "Connections" info is complete, there's really only a couple of movies it could be.

no guesses? I'm curious whether Rogi has narrowed it down by now in his own mind to a single title.

I'll check in again tomorrow.

He has.
I'd be willing to wager $20 that it has a one-word title.

You, sir, would be wrong, by several words. Pay up!
(oh fine, another clue it is)

Heh. Will PayPal do?
Of the 2 movies that IMDB lists as having SCCtM featured in them, I went with the one that also has a keyword of "X Ray of skeleton".
So if it's not the other one (5 words [Oh and there is a computer connection]) I'm at a loss.
