So much has happened since I last posted here. The smell in the garden is subsiding. Martha finally found the problem - a clogged pipe. When she had it shut off and opened up she found something of Steven's inside. It was the briefcase he had with him when he disappeared. I don't know what it means exactly, but we're trying not to overreact. I'm struggling to think of a scenario where that briefcase being stuffed into a pipe would be logical. I guess it is somewhere to hide something in a hurry. What's really worrying is that Martha was attacked in her office. Someone hit her over the head and swiped Steven's briefcase.

You can feel the tension rising on the station. Many of the people here have created a bit of a buddy system where they won't walk around the station without a buddy for protection. I suggested to my father that we could maybe hand out some informational flyers that give safety tips, but he seems to want to ignore the obvious� We're not as safe here as we thought we were. He said, "Davina, we have to be the leaders in this situation and show them that we feel safe. If they see us walking around freely without looks of fear on our faces, they will follow our example." Personally, I think he's lost it. First Steven disappeared, then Rasmussen broke into Stevie's room and now Martha gets attacked? Sounds like we need to take another look at the security procedures on the station. I'm just glad Seth is here to help out.

I've been helping Seth with a few things lately and it seemed like we were getting closer. Over the past couple of days though, he's seemed distant. I know he's working hard and this isn't really the time to be thinking about romance, but it still feels like something has changed. I don't know, maybe I should stop analyzing everything so much. It's not like we're even "dating".
