[FA][PRE-GAME] Find Araya Benedict

I found a link earlier today on the wikipedia article on Alternate Reality Games to www.findaraya.com . From there it wasn't hard to discover the forums for the game. Nothing much on there except a couple guideline posts from the two characters, James Pearson (Private Investigator) and Sarah Smith (his receptionist), and a couple posts from people who had already discovered the forums, asking if 'it' was a game (lol). Anyways, the signature block for Sarah leads to her brand spanking new blog, where she mentions that Mr. Pearson should have enough evidence to begin the investigation proper by January 26th, 2006.

A little more digging reveals that eluxoso, who looks to be new to ARGs, found the main site through a search on alexa(?). He subsequently added the link to the wikipedia article on ARGs, to 'help them out'.

So….that's about it. Not quite sure if this is a true ARG yet, but it looks like it's heading in that direction.

For those who havent found that yet:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You'll be given that if you submit a comment on via here

By the way, clearly the boards, even the off-topic section, are In-Game. So we need to treat them as such... therefore, don't mention unfiction or ARGs or how this is a game - those first two or three guys clearly dont have any experience with TINAG so they are a bit confused.

Here's a list of people so far (that my meeger brain could figure out):

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
James Pearson- Private Eye (probably London based), working the Benedict case, took case on 13/12/2005, asked for help 18/12/2005.

Sarah Smith- Assistant to James, on sarah's blog post on 19/12/2005 she says that she is 5 months pregnant, BUT on James's post on the forums on 17/12/2005 he says that she is 6 months pregnant! Nothing important, I just got a kick out of that. She saw an ad for the job in a London based paper called "Loot".

Araya Benedict- Missing woman, aparently some items are missing from her apartment. James recieved a letter from "A Friend" of hers to help track her down on 10/12/2005. In it her friend says that she has been missing for over a month. So she dissapeard some time before 10/11/2005.

A Friend- An as yet to be identified "friend" of Araya, wrote James a letter asking for help in finding Araya.

Joan- Sarah's sister.

Sarah's mum- Um.... well sarah's mom.

Count me in on this. Registered as bartmans, just as here.

Just been googling with Araya Benedict, but no result. Interestingly, araya seems to be common as last name, not as christian name. I've seen some Turkish sites where araya seemed to be used as a word. From a Turkish dictionary site, I learned it means 'between'. So it could be a given name to a middle child, meaning that Araya has both older and younger siblings?
Benedict, if it should have any meaning comes from the latin word 'benedictus', which means blessed.

Any way, just speculation

I have to say that it does seem a little bit of a coincidence that eluxoso all of a sudden starts a blog about args then his next post, only 13 days later, is telling us that he's found a brand new game.

just seems a little bit unusual that's all
